stants
Does my scoop just unbolt from the engine bay or are there some sneaky little fasteners i should be made aware of? Off to be repainted next week :-) whoop !
Jay762
on the Impreza it just unbolted no clips or catches - dont know if that helps
stants
90% of impreza parts/procedures have worked & fitted so far so i guess it will be the same. Didn't know if there was anything inbetween the scoop and plastic bit that may pop off or get lost if i"m not ready for it
Jay762
Watch for bolts dropping - put a sheet / towel over your engine to catch them - mine had bolts going into top hat type nuts but they were not solid in the plastic scoop and I dropped a couple into the bay below bit of a pain to get the little buggers out again
Gambit
Yeah just bolted mate should be fine just follow Jays idea with the towel :)
stants
Hmm turns out mines clipped in with some fasteners which ment removing the air guide tray did wonder why it wasn't coming free when given a little tug. One of the clips at the front was so brittle it perrished. Hopefully be able to re use whats left of it as theres no replacment in subaru group stock. balls ! Ash007ks
be careful with the tugging, too much and you'll go blind.
