Guys i have a 2007 Hawkeye with PPP pack and Exhaust, i dont know whether its because its the 2.5Lt engine but the exhaust note does not seem as loud as other Impreza's driving around. This has got me thinking about ow to get a better sound out of it, bit more grunt and burble.

Any thoughts or recommendations ?

Mike ;)

i have the same set-up, think the only way you can get more rumble is replace your back box, you might have to get it custom fitted due to the rear diffuser on Hawk-eyes, you can buy ones that will fit but limited, its worth having a look here http://just-subaru.c...ye-79037-0.html

Cobra sport back box gets good reviews and a good price as well. I have read something about taking the middle silencer out and fitting a straight pipe instead???

I have the 2.5ltr Hawk too but I cant grumble with the sound.... I have a TSL stainless steel system = sports cat, straight through 3' TSL stainless steel centre section into a TSL backbox - looks the business and sounds great !!! ;)

tomi headers &up pipe afterburner/hayward&scott down pipe mid section and back box all 3inch for ultimate flat four burble  ;)
