LANCENEOMAN Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 So ive bought some wrx pro brake calipers, off eBay. They are very good from checking them out. Look as sturdy as the original. only difference is they say wrx pro on the front as opposed to subaru. Will be fitting saturday.
LANCENEOMAN Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 £161.00 a per with warranty is a bargain my eyes. However; they only fit wrx's
Gambit Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Think it's Pommy he has a set he's not complained about them yet. I just worry about something I've never heard of before, so yeah keep us posted mate :)
LANCENEOMAN Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 yeah will do. looking around theres a lot of good reviews on the diffrent website. And god speed brakes did a full week intensive test getting though 10 sets of pads, and no issues at all. 1
Pommy Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Yeah it was me who have these calipers, all working well with me, the feel and braking strength is better than before, although I did upgrade the discs and pads, so not 100% sure what is causing the most change but have had no problems what so ever with the calipers and they look nice. Only thing is that they are heavier than the standard brakes by about 750g I believe although it could be more.
LANCENEOMAN Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 ive bought some Brembo pads to go with them, as the ones now are crappy
LANCENEOMAN Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 So I've Fitted the calipers today and added Brembo front pads. And honestly they are better than the originals. The car stops a millions times better now highly recommended 1
