I don't anymore I think it's gone downhill WRC but if I picked one I would say Mikko Hirvonen I know not a Brit :) I just watch it for the sport now the FIA really need to rescue WRC now though. I like watching the Rallycross and Rally America :)

I haven't watched any Rallycross, I take it it's worth it? Yeah Mikko is good, probably the one I would go for actually. I always find WRC isn't a competition anymore due to having a dominant driver all the time, first Loeb and now Ogier or Latvala.

What's Rally America then? Is the clue in the name by any chance lol.

I've been watching it still. Not got BT Sports so having to make do with Motors TV's terrible quality footage and ITV4's ridiculously short round ups - trying to cover a weekend of rallying in an hour... impossible! And !Removed! annoying & stupid.

I'm actually a fan of Latvalla, especially with his new outlook. He's just cool and a really great driver. Obviously I'm also backing Kris Meeke but he just doesn't have it in him unfortunately.

I enjoy it but it's definitely a shadow of its former self. My biggest problem isn't the drivers and predictability though, it's actually the cars as daft as that might sound. But the regs mean they are just !Removed! grannie shopping trolleys really. Pump them up all you want and add all that body kit to them but they are just Polo's, DS3's, Fiestas etc. at the end of the day. Just nowhere near as exciting and as fun to watch as the old saloons and even proper hatches. Bring back the Focus and bring in the Golf instead of the !Removed! Polo and I'd immediately be more interested. Still everyday cars as always but still a damn site more interesting than the !Removed! they're using.

I think it's the lack of manufacturers involved and like you say the 1.6 engine shopping trolleys the FIA rules make the sport a poor shadow of what was once a great sport.

But something to enjoy
