Hi just need some help I've just brought a 02 impreza gx sport and when I unlock the car I get this loud beeping sound from the alarm and it even goes off when I'm driving the car down the road any ideas cos it's really starting to do my head in

Cheers for the reply mate I think I might of fix it not 100% going to test on the to work in the morn. The puz on the battery was loose but if anyone else knows anything please let me know

I had something similar on a different car. Was a bit if a dodgy switch making and breaking contact lots when driving from vibrations. The alarm does make a bleep to alert you that a circuit has been triggered when unlocking, or if it's been set to bleep on lock/unlock. If it only makes the bleep when unlocking id give the switches a clean and inspection.

I get it if the bonnet or boot or any of the doors isn't shut. 

WD40 all the switches.... Doors, boot, bonnet, rear doors. check the contacts on them as they are prone to rust.
