Hi guys, having trouble removing the lateral bolt on my rear hub (2001 2.0 awd sport) any  tips or tricks? I am guessing this might be quite common, needing to remove it to replace rear wheel baring, will i need new bushes? or what do you think guys?

You may not need new bushes but if you suspect you do, now is the time to do it whilst its all in bits. To get the bolt out is a pain. I would suggest loads of WD40 all over it and left to soak in overnight.

remember before you start banging with a sledge hammer, using extended breaker bar etc etc make sure to secure your vehicle as safety first!

and as Eric the car guy states; stay dirty

Depends on how heavy handed you are, if you just go jumping up and down then maybe. Of it's had a good soak in some wd40 or similar than applying gentle force on it should just ease it free. If all else fails have a drill handy
