Hey,

New owner from Marlow / High Wycombe.

Picking the car up hopefully this Thursday so will get some clean pics!

Once it's back I'll be able to inspect it throughly, will need to start searching forums for service guides!

It's an 03 blob eye, blue with dark grey alloys.

Hope to see you about, normally over on the s2ki forums with the unpractical car! :D

Thanks,

Rob

Hi mate welcome to S.O.C

I think I just put up a 04 guide somewhere for an STI and an 02 WRX guide both should give you what you need really.

And look forward to the pictures :)

Welcome mate, friendly bunch on here. If your in the bucks area I'd recommend Richard &@ Fb tuning for servicing / mods, he's nr princes risborough. He's a specialist and did my map, very knowledgeable and genuine guy. Will have to start a thread for a bucks meet, my local pub landlord is a Scooby fan lol.

Awesome Jonny B! Looks incredible!

So the first few weeks of ownership have had a few ups n downs!

Driving along the A21 I managed to blow out the front o2 sensor from the exhaust manifold that goes back into the turbo... what a fuking noise it made!!!! scared me to death.

Instantly pulled over in nearest lay-by and had a look around, at first I thought I blew a hole in it...

Anyway, nursed it back home and had some help welding the sensor back in... It's not the first time that its been out, we found that quick cement stuff around it. Hopefully stay in a bit better now! Wish I got a recording of the noise driving back!

On poking around fixing the sensor, noticed that the rad overflow coolant bottle was missing. How the hell did I miss this on inspection, guess I'm not used to the boxer engine and layout :/ Anyway under £20 on eBay I've got a new bottle and fitted into place.

Next on my list is a couple of gauges, headunit and speakers for they are a pile of rat p***. Got to keep the lady happy with music :D

Hoping to buy all the service bits end of the month to give the car a bit of freshness!

Apart from the scary moments with the sensor, subbies been mental. The pick up and power it delivers is awesome, I have to rag my little honda to keep up with the lady driving the subbie!
