I have had 200 bhp fwd cars ,they are quick , don't get me wrong

But when you enter the world of 4wd and boost you will never go back trust me these thing pull like trains might only be 215 to 225 standard but they have so much more tourge ,and you do t have to thrash the sh't out of them to get the power down and the major plus side is you can get of 300 bhp easily if you want to in the future lol lol I'd get used to the 4wd first as it can be abit tricky in the wet but ,as I learnt this morning lol lol

Just to add there is a lot of wrongers out there as I have only owned my. For about a month ,I almost gave up looking for one lol ,There is a lot of choice so be a tyre kicker and be picky

I've got patience I'll be waiting for the right one thanks :)

I only say it because I lost patience :D . I've got a great car in good nick but I compromised on colour....I think regret is too string a word but I do keep having a sneaky peak at the classifieds :)

WRC blue. I bought a Silver bug brand new in the day...and now I have a silver blob so all my mates are taking the **** asking me if I bought back my old car lol

I'm consoling myself with the fact that 2 out of 3 Imprezas are blue :D

Silver or metallic grey ?

I also wanted a blue but could not find one local to me that hadn't had the !Removed! thrashed out of it, and i found a grey one that had the perfect history, took me a good week to make the decision but im glad i got the grey now i find the blue very common :D

People are rite though make sure your happy before you buy, i didn't get mine privately i went through a garage so i could get warranty, i paid silly money but i know im covered if anything happens and that makes me sleep better at night ;)

I'm on my phone so can't make out your car but I'm guessing STI for that price or newish Hawk.

I got a 10 year old Blob with 58k miles and very good history for £4.3k. I did look at a few £6.5k cars with similar mileage at dealers but thought I'd rather have £2k in my pocket - almost rebuild the engine for that :D

Na its a 55 plate blob, im not keen on the hawk eye. Milage was one factor but also the service history, always been serviced at subaru and cambelt was recently done, i plan to keep the car for a long time. So yes i paid alot for it but in the long run i should benefit from it.

No in not keen on the Hawks either. As long as you're happy with it that's all that counts mate :)

I have spent £1k on mine since buying it on 4 new tyres, new discs and pads on the front and new cambelt and PS belt and A specialist giving it a thorough looking over :) I'm doing 100 miles a day so need it to be working and hassle free.

  • 2 months later...

So after a set back with spare cash, and many weeks of looking I have found myself a motor that has ticked most my boxes :) I got myself a blob eye wrx 88k on the clocks and at the moment she seems sweet :)
