Skiv Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Are parcel shelf speakers classed as a mod that needs to be declared or so they come under the "audio cover" that insurance companies already have with the policy anyway? Cheers in advance Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Jay762 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I found the audio cover to be limited financially so when I dropped in some tasty units I wanted them listed so told them about it - if the cost of the insurance possibly going up is more than the speaker units themselves I wouldn't bother telling them 1

Gambit Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I just look at it that if I add anything to the car it's a mod :) 1

Gambit Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I agree seen people have a crash at the roadside dripping with blood kicking the back box off taking the wheels off you name it :) 1
stants Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Check the small print my insurance says I'm covered for theft of any audio equipment up to the value of £500 doesn't state that it has to be oem. :-D
