Subaru forester gearbox mount

Featured Replies

Ive noticed its really soft and my gear lever is moving a bit and if I put my hand on the gearbox under neath and shake it about there is some movement also when driving you can hear something underneath when you take the foot off the gas pedal.I was thinking of injecting tiger seal into the mount to stiffen it up for support till I get a proper mount.Im wondering of impreza mounts fit the forester also

Hi mate

Sure it's the entire mount thast shot or just the bushes ?

Bushes should fit across the model range but the mount it's self is slightly difderent in shape. Theres a comparison pic floating around the net somewhere between foz and impreza

What do you mean by the bushes?i could only see the rear mount.i tried looking at the picture you put up but it was to small

Ah right I ment the big black rubbery bit that sits inbetween the frame and box, you can also buy new bushes that go between the mounting points
