Hi guys, this is my first Subaru, in fact my first Japanese car. I thought I knew engines fairly well after years of BMW's and Audi's, but i've looked under the bonnet of this Subaru Impreza WRX and I feel like an absolute novice, wow. Looking forward to getting to grips with this beast :-)


Hi mate welcome to Subaru owners club 

I'm going to pretend I didn't read the bit about Bmws and Audis :D But the Scoob engines do look crazy if you haven't seen one before but pretty sure won't take you long to figure them out, and most things pretty easy to work with really untill it comes to the spark plugs :D

 

I'm sure I have a workshop manual for the 2001. This might be of some use give that a butchers :)
