Clutch Judder Cold Engine

Is this a common issue? It's quite intermittent but sometimes when on a cold engine the clutch tends to judder and a rattle can be heard until I dip the clutch and try again and it works fine. I usually set off about 2k maybe a bit more revs.

Could the rattling be the release bearing?

Car is a 01 WRX turbo.

Scoobs are well know for clutch Judder when cold, nothing to worry about unless it gets really bad.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it too much mate. biggest thing is if it starts to slip you know it's time to raid the piggy bank :(

Thanks guys when it happens it kinda is quite bad and tends to vibrate the car (feels like it anyway) aswel :/ would a new clutch help or is it more flywheel related?

I get it really bad when I set off my drive is at about 20% gradient once im up and at the top of the street it's gone away. I guess it's jut due to the clutch/diffs being stone cold it does feel like you've stalled it sometimes with the vibrations I wouldn't worry mate. Don't think a replacment clutch would help

Thanks mate I have put a lot of concentration into setting off today and it hasn't done it so fingers crossed it's just me not being used to the car :)
