Hi all my names fletty I'm from buckie north east Scotland.

Just bought myself a 08 wrx sti type uk.

1 previous owner and 35k miles.

Ive had a load of fast cars over the years but this is my first Scooby, really good fun to drive so far. Hopefully get a few little mods done get a bit more power.

Having a few teething problems already. Hopefully be able to get some info & help from the site.

Turns out it was a bit more than teething problems.

Had the car trailered to Brian Downies Subaru Specialist today and discovered bottom bearings have went.

Bit of a nightmare after doing less than 100 miles. :(

So looks like i will be going down the forged engine route.

:o  first example I have heard of that happening on an STI hatch - really sorry to hear that

 

RA developments could help you out with uprated engine internals or a complete engine if you have really deep pockets
