August 10, 201411 yr Author lol. Nope. No-one was bothered at all. The weather was terrible! It didn't stop raining all the time we were there, and at times was really heavy. Eventually found the VIP tent (no signs on it or anything) and had a sit-down and a coffee or two. Almost got caught-out coming back over the A66 by a speed camera van. That would have made my day. Quite a good show actually, much better than the Yorkshire show that's held just outside of Northallerton every year.
August 10, 201411 yr Hehe they don't know what they are missing! We had to ask at the Subaru car stand where the drinks etc were too....terrible job of hiding it as best they could. Glad you felt it was worth the trip too though - any fun and games with people getting bogged down, or did the field hold up?
August 10, 201411 yr Author I ended up deciding to NOT come off the field where everyone else was, as there was quite a drop and thought I might end up grounding the Subaru. So I spun round and zipped off back up the field and went out the way I came in. No probs at all.
