  2. Gotta love the original Legacy Outback, (not my actual car in the photo but identical) the best colour combo as well. Diesel`s a bit of a plodder but it has all the bells & whistles, some that I`ve yet to find. Just to settle any argument, and I know there are a few out there. Having had the A6 allroad for the past 4 years, and a wonderful drive it was, fully loaded and with the air suspension just wafted along. Off road they`re no match for the Subaru in any way, I actually found it a bit disappointing after all the hype from the Audi fan boys.
  3. I've just this day brought home my 5th Outback (although my last 2 cars were a Volvo XC 60 & an Audi A6 allroad 3.0 V6 tdi) I suppose i fell off the Wagon for a few years😄 New one's an SE Premium 2.0 diesel. There really is no substitute! Best if luck with your decision 👍🏼
  4. Change of plan. I was thinking of an XV but after seeing a 65 plate 2.0 diesel at the weekend I`m not impressed. Looking at this Outback today: https://www.selectcarsyorkshire.co.uk/used-cars/subaru-outback-2-0d-se-lineartronic-4wd-euro-6-5dr-keighley-202508195582810 I would appreciate any tips on what to look out for regarding the diesel engines on these. I`m used to the petrols. 🤘
  5. Posted this on XV forum, maybe better here. Cheers!

  7. Sorry mate it`s long gone, A bloke came all the way from London by train to collect it for my full asking price. I do recommenced the 3 ltr over the 2.5, it`s a class above! I`m now a Volvo XC60 owner but keep it to yourself.
  8. Good one! That's the last disc made for that system. Later mods have a memory card. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Sounds about right.....and they are a beast of a thing.
  10. Listing it for ebay tonight!
  11. I updated mine to HID headlights and mega-bright LED main beam and they are stupendous. The price has dropped for the HID kits, under £40. Make sure you get the correct one. If you want i`ll post the ebay link to the same bloke I got them from.
  12. On the Subaru system the resonator, which is in the centre, does most of the work. On mine, the Y-pipe Had rotted through so the 2 back boxes.....which are like dustbins, were doing nothing at all. But there was really no discernible difference in noise, just a slight change in exhaust note. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. I got it done at Mr Tyre in Farnworth. They are part of LongLife exhaust franchise. Excellent system. From inside the car it sounds very quiet. I told them I didn't want it any louder than the stock system. https://www.longlife.co.uk/stainless-steel-exhausts?gclid=Cj0KCQjwpMLOBRC9ARIsAPiGeZDN8MeMIF7pnQnCwDmoVBETeizB_mpnSAcr-1ZdKsuUHTALouzwepsaAk8NEALw_wcB Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. There`s no "Edit" button. Also has Parrot blutooth, HID Xenon/LED headlights, auto climate control, tyres are all quite recent and no doubt other stuff i`ve failed to mention. Any questions just ask.
  15. Top of the range with all the toys, touch screen sat nav, electric front seats, heated seats all electrics work. 105`000 miles, recent new cat back stainless steel exhaust system, recent new drilled & grooved front disks/pads & calipers, alloys professionally refurbed earlier this year in gunmetal grey. 12 months test, just flown though. She`s been really well looked after all her life and wanted for nothing. Engine is as smooth and as tight as when it was new. Including Thule locking roof bars which were £160.00. Private plate not included. Looking for £2`650.00 ono. Email me at: claretsfan at gmail.com
