Jonathan Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Hi there, just joined as I've just become the owner of a 2007 2.5 XTEn Forester. My last two weekend cars have been a Porsche 911 and a tricked up Suzuki Jimny so hoping to combine the performance and go anywhere capability with this one. Hopefully I've bought well as the vehicle has a full Subaru history, sensible miles and just 3 owners. One minor problem already noticed is a rather heavy clutch - is that normal and I can't open the tailgate - any ideas? Jonathan

Mr B Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Clutches are normally not heavy, could be clutch or even issue with hill hold mechanism that linked to clutch pedal ! Sounds like rear boot release or lock mechanism needs looking at, can be a PITA that ...
