Which ones are you looking I'm led to believe theres two types ? I've never really seen the need as I'm not that into weight saving, however I have a mate who has a pair on his font bumper of mk2 golf it's so low he can't get it ino the mechanics garage without removing the front end. Can't emember how he's rigged it but it's a good system

How big a hole do you have to cut to fit them.?

It's only a 6mm bar so not massive I think then a hole big enough for the latch
