I personally use the cosworth panel filter. I think the k&n is more expensive cause its meant to be cleaned and reused over and over.

Yeah mate i got extremely lucky and was just a re-timing required.

Im sure the guy never done it on purpose but I wasnt impressed but it was all a long time ago now. The guy who sorted it just reckoned he never double checked everything was tight. 

Yeah i know what its like my bugeye was an absolute nightmare. Radiator burst (usual plastic top bit). Paid my mates mechanic to replace rad/ water pump and timing belt kit. Car never felt right and soon after had misfire cels in every cylinder 😔. Had to then pay an actual mechanic to sort the timing (i have a picture of how badly it was done somewhere, will dig it out) . Then front calipets started sticking. Exhaust fell off holes appeard in chassis ect ect could go on lol. Still loved it even though it was a wee sod ... so i bought another wrx ofcourse much to the annoance of my mrs lol. 

Rebuild it mate you will thank yourself im sure everyone on here would say the same.

Aye im considered him, the mechanic i used said he can get it done with a guy he knows. He knows subarus inside out so ill ask his advice nearer the time. Yeah i know what you mean but my wee boy does love the scoob, take him runs to Ardrossan harbour quiet often. Ive just went with the standard recirc as advised by my mechanic. The forge one good? 

Nice one mate all the proper mods there. Mines is unbelievable similar to yours lol. Has cobra sports cat down pipe custom cat back stainless exhaust and also a Bailey bov 😂. I am taking the Bailey off asap and reverting back to oem recirc valve which ive got ready to fit but kids = no time. Much like you mine hasn't been mapped yet so staying off boost as much as possible til ive got it done. Other than that it has full sti body kit with sti wheels so probably go brembos at some point and a couple of suspension tweeks here and there. Good idea with tmic im doing the same ill be happy with 275 hp ish.

Forgive me if this has been asked before cant see it. Im trying to revert back to the oem recirculation valve but it looks like the factory feed line has been butchered to fit Bailey bov (by last owner). Anyone know what size of pipe the feed line is? Was too small to fit on the factory bpv.

Managed to get hold of one from MB developments but thanks for the reply anyway bud. 

Hi guys anyone got a oem recirculation valve for sale. Its to fit a newage 2004 wrx. Ideally in the Glasgow area but im willing to pay postage.

Perfect thanks for the reply mate. Be mostly second hand parts mainly need a oem recirculation valve the now to replace the bov thats on the car from last owner. Will put an ad up at some point.
