  1. Thats whats gutting we only need another two and japfest two was pretty good turn out in the end I thought we would have had this bagged quicker. I know the month isn't like summer time but meant to be pretty nice until the end of November. I know it's silly but people do judge a club by the events like this. We have members just not all interested in going to event's which is fine but to get ten I didn't think would be so hard now with doing both japfests :(

I just close my eyes now and hope it will all go away with regards to MPG = SPM (Smiles Per Miles )
  5. we had a member that had bought a car and updated with a bootleg disc it stopped it working until he got an original version. I'm guessing they have some sort of key encryption. Not impossible I'm sure to get round it but unless you know what to do.

ScoobySTI sold up I believe have lot's of members from Wales though just not sure on areas :)
  7. Had something like this happen with a car I sold to some dope heads from Hull. Came and bought the car on a Sunday about 3 to 4 hours later Police on the phone asking if I had sold the car as it was involved in an accident. Luckily I had proof of the sale and they had court the driver running from the scene. :( As you can guess monday morning sent off the slip to DVLA and rang my insurance straight up.
  8. A real pain in the !Removed! to do but if you're confident enough to do them yourself I'd save the money but that cost does seem a lot of money for spark plugs to be changed. Is that a mainstealers ?
  9. Emailed Steve about it heard nothing back so far.
  10. Still need two more to get this booked in :)
  11. Hope this helps just plumb it into this part here with the rings around it. Cut it in half and put the T piece in it :)
  12. This Tuesday to give people a head up warning :)
  13. Thought crossed my mind but I like to do the probing but if they buy me a McDonalds dinner I might let them :D
  14. :( nothing worse than back pain. I know when I had it I was getting mad with myself because I was limited to what I could do :(
  15. Nope been waiting on this hill for aliens to come abduct me, I want to see if they're as kinky as what the american abductees say they are :)
  16. Thats the thing I don't get we're a national club and I welcome the local clubs to come here like Surrey Scoobies and so on. For me there is no local subaru club near me so this is as good a place to make it home but can't seem to get them to join. People even said it's really friendly place I think it's ran in a great way, we have some massive companies involved still waiting on Subaru UK to get back to me. I would like to try get them to come with us on the club stands at these event when possible to show off the new range of cars, so I'm always looking for ways to progress. I've noticed a massive influx of people signing up but still not saying hello or anything. I've even seen people sign up pay for membership and still not say hello lol
  17. Will email steve now with them both :)
  18. I'm not sure we have some great members summer is always bad because everyone wants to be out and I get really busy over summer time but with tapatalk and mobiles it's as easy to use this forum as it is fakebook. And I agree people have to use the forum more so it's not quiet, but to be fair I don't think it's that quiet :D maybe we should start slagging peoples cars off that don't suit our own tastes and belittle people that have mods we don't like I think thats what is missing ;) It's like with the people that turn up at the local meet I do I can't seem to get them to sign up on the forum or they have and haven't even said hello :( And I think we're the only forum that has a place for all subaru makes in the UK and the only Forester Club in the UK so makes my mind boggle. But I would like to pull some more mods in again at some point for specific models another legacy owner one more fozzie owner and hopefully get some for the rest of the models too.
  19. Think we might have to start advertising this on facebook or using it more. For some reason I can't help but feel forums like this have been slowly killed off with facebook. I'm 100% this forum is fine but it's still not getting the full range of members I feel it deserves by now :( I will have words with Steve see what we can do with fakebook about advertising club stand on it
  20. Stevie Wonder's wife got him a cheese-grater for his birthday..... Most violent book he's ever read.
