  3. Toms on here mate from Opie oils :) should have just messaged him good chap always happy to help. And I think you will have more knowledge than me with the filter I've not had an auto before :( And still not found a service manual :D
  4. Yeah the prodrive one is nice and I'm with you with the bumper and fog covers does change the full look of the car and adds to the more mean looking front end :)
  5. Guide Hi mate welcome to S.O.C
  6. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Bugeye STI wagons I think you have to get JDM as it was the only country to release them maybe America but who wants a lefty, and they're super rare to get hold of. I know there is a few already in this country but I've not seen many for sale and seem to hold good value :) I share your view with the auto gearbox I wouldn't say the best car to test drive one. I'd look at the legacies too can get nice twin turbo good boot space for the dog and loads of power :D
  7. Have one of each in the garage. I like the Bug with Morette headlights or the Prodrive. If you couldn't get either of those lights I wouldn't have had mine this long :D
  8. I think so too but might get lucky [emoji56]
  9. :( gutted was worth a try I'll keep an eye out too mate :)

I fitted a digital manual boost controller disconnected it soon after after reading people destroying the cars with them. I know a guy near me kept messing with his doing something with the pill or wastegate killed both scoobs off he had :( I agree getting it mapped is really the only true and safeway
  12. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C. I'm just the otherside of the water from you :) I'd try our insurance company Adrian Flux should get a 20% discount on it with being a club member. But failing that I'd also have a look at Green light they did a good deal for me a few years back but stayed with my current one as it's local and I've been with them for years.
  13. Does look fun he won the event it was in anyway :)
  14. I thought it was pretty good other than it is VW but they do loads :) To this
  15. Oh I agree I would do the same last time I said I was going to keep a car standard last about 2 weeks :D
  16. I know a really good play in Louth that do amazing custom work mainly do a lot of work with VW's but have worked with lots of other cars
  17. I think you're right about being that new your the 1st person I know to start modding one :D even with the other guys who own one on here I don't think they have done anything in terms of modding theirs yet. So to me you're like Neil Armstrong of the Subaru world at the minute :)

  20. Id have a look around the bottom of the windscreen too see if the plastic run offs been moved or loose and that the drain offs not blocked.
  21. Yeah it's a pain mate I looked at mine and took it to the garage when mine ate itself. Think it was only about 60 quid but turned out my track rod end was on its way too. So I had that done at the same time. I know it wasn't loads but the thought of being on the drive way in the cold lol.
  22. I'm with jay and belive its the same subaru don't change much with the cars at all. And id want to drip tray or a drain off I think if I was going for a bonnet scoop.
