Not easy to get an idea being that close distance angle would have maybe given a better look but I think it would look pretty good, they don't look like they stick out too much that it's in your face.
  7. Hi mate not used these myself but have been recommended in the past http://www.hypertechscotland.co.uk/ But this one seems to be most favoured Kenneth Brown Motor Engineering Ltd 36 Hepburn Road, Glasgow, Glasgow City G52 4RT 0141 882 6757
  8. I always keep update with that :) But I did try to get the latest ones funny enough the other day but kept stopping when I was downloading them :(
  9. I've got it don't think my PC likes it I had the glitch problem when you start if you get dressed before speaking to that guy the door stays locked so restarted got past that bit6 then it crashed my PC. So might have another go later but I hadn't restarted the PC after install which I know is a bit of a sin :)
  10. Oh no I go street level depending on how slack they are. Chuck a bit of sand up there helps add to the friction :)
  11. It's not chavy at all. I've spoken ..... Just don't tell your missus otherwise I will be forced to agree with her :) But I think it looks spot on myself it just brakes the colour up enough to give it some flair.
  12. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I'll start with I wouldn't worry about owners more so with these cars, I have seen so many people say about this. Yes it could be because it's a bad car and is getting shipped off every few months because people don't have the funds to look after it. But I have seen a few that have had a lot of owners and are still great cars. People will buy these then realise it's not suitable for their needs we have had someone this week post and say Hi then matt see the same car on ebay :( Like my car it was sold and bought by the same owners 5 times back and forth I still have no idea why. And it's an early 2001 bugeye. Not to saying Snoop-y is wrong, but more for food for thought or looking into the paper work. But I agree MOT paperwork doesn't always mean anything but no advisories is good unless done from the same Garage might have been a backstreet garage. The prodrive pack is nice to have and would say it's been looked after but I would always want some sort of paper work with it. For me out of the 2 you have listed I'd maybe go for the 1st one and use the extra money to spend on mods it doesn't cost loads to soon tune them to 300BHP and thats a WRX you can go to 350. which is past a STI standard anyway :) All I can say anything second hand is a gamble it really is. You could go VW, Ford, Vauxhall, and still have problems. Like the lass next door to me got a Vectra well damaged not much in the way of paper work. Had no oil in the gearbox at all luckily spotted that and it's still running for now that was last week, but starts ok and no problems with gear change at the minute so think it was saved. Just annoyed I now have to buy some more oil for when I change my calipers :D Anyway I'd look at both take for test drives we have a guide HERE Has some of the members add to this so worth looking into and having a read down the list. But Clutch gearbox Big End failure and Headgasket is the big worry at the end of the day. The brake calipers do suffer from stuck pistons also but thats not a problem we have a chap on here that refurbishes them for a living on here :) So if you take them both for a test drive, report back anything worrying you. That will be better off that way as a report back on both car, all being well give us more insight :) I also found looking further for these cars was a great help, to find one you're completely happy with I traveled for both mine :)

  17. I'd not heard of it before until Salsa posted about it 1st. Easy as hell to use not as clumsy as the bar and get bigger coverage.
  18. Used mine too. I agree loads easier to use and seemed to work just as well I'd left it too late today to get a real job done had to finish off the waxing in the garage. I hate winter [emoji20] but impressed from how it looks in the garage light [emoji2]
  19. Same for me used the clay cloth but started a bit late I'm still doing it :-(

  21. MIKKO HIRVONEN WILL RETIRE FROM THE WRC FOLLOWING NEXT WEEK’S FINAL ROUND OF THE SEASON AT WALES RALLY GB (13 - 16 NOVEMBER).Following speculation over his 2015 plans, the 34-year-old Finn confirmed today (Thursday) that he will bow out after 13 seasons at the top. Hirvonen plans to devote more time to his family after a career in which he finished runner-up in the drivers’ championship four times, and played a key role in Ford winning back-to-back manufacturers’ titles in 2006 and 2007. “Throughout the many years of my competitive career, I have focused on myself a lot. Rallying has taken up a large part of my life and the pace of the calendar has been fairly unrelenting. “I have enjoyed absolutely every minute of it and although I still love driving now, I would also like to concentrate more on other important things which are part of my life, like my children and my family,” said Hirvonen, who has claimed 15 wins and 68 podiums from 162 starts. Hirvonen at home - Mikko in Finland in 2014 He made his WRC debut in 2002 and spent most of his career driving for Ford, apart from a year at Subaru in 2004 and two seasons at Citroen in 2012 and 2013. He returned to Ford this year as lead driver for M-Sport World Rally Team. “I have so many incredible memories from the last 13 seasons. I have travelled all around the world, met some fantastic people and have loved every rally and every fight I’ve had with some exceptional drivers. I won some and lost some, but I will look back on these moments to the end of my days with a great big smile on my face,” he said. Hirvonen reserved special thanks for co-driver Jarmo Lehtinen, who partnered him on all but two starts. “It has been a privilege to work with Jarmo and none of this would have happened without him. We met for the first time at Helsinki Airport in 2001, before flying to Italy where we were meant to be competing on our first rally together. Greatest rivals - Hirvonen with Sébastien Loeb before their 2011 Wales Rally GB title duel “It was the beginning of a great friendship. In these 13 years full of laughter, adventures, wins, losses and passions, we have experienced everything together,” he said. Hirvonen had the misfortune to be at his peak at the same time as nine-time world champion Sébastien Loeb and the duo enjoyed a huge rivalry. “They were the greatest battles and the ones I loved the most, whether they were won or lost. Seb was a rival and team-mate for whom I had, and still have, a lot of respect and I think the feeling was mutual,” he added. MIKKO HIRVONEN IN NUMBERSFACT TOTAL Starts:162 Wins:15 Runner-up:28 Podiums:68 Stage wins: 259 Points scored:1192 Consecutive wins: 4 Consecutive podiums: 8 Consecutive points finishes:22
