10 minutes is very slow I'd try come cleaner in there maybe the previous owners was only filling it about halfway or was it left stud for awhile. I try that see how it goes. I know mines not the quickest to show full but it's only about a minute.

Should be a line on the side that says full or F if I remember but I think it's about 3 quarters full should be fine. As for the bolts and stuff I couldn't tell you mate sorry

Easiest way is to push a resistor into the connector to prevent the ECU coming on Something like this should do it.

Hey mate welcome to S.O.C And does sounds like you had a string of bad luck there :( misfires not uncommon . And for the ice does suck that you have had to pay for that because he can't be bothered to clean it off before driving, a mate of mine had that happen off a lorry going around a corner he stopped to give him room to get round some ice came off the top smashed his windscreen. The lorry driver just stuck his finger up and carried on driving :(

Main reason for the remap with Decat is for the ECU light but there is many ways around that to get rid of it without a remap :)

I've never seen one in my life like that. :D I'm not sure it would make your engine go bang but wouldn't want to see it in my engine bay I think it looks ugly is my honest opinion. I take it it's an Air filter ? Anything like that is also advised to get it mapped when fitting. Not that I would myself but have known a few people just put them on without a remapped, but would rather be safe then sorry with my cars.
