  1. Well wish you the best of luck hopefully one will be a good buy :)
  2. Oh it is good fun I love shopping for bits for the car just my bank balance and Missus tend to disagree :)
  3. I was just about to post it up with a header So I'm still going to do it :D
  4. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C From some of the freelander owners we have on here they sound's like you made a good choice. Non bias view :D for the parts Might get lucky with some breakers yards or good old fleebay. I always like to have a spare tyre personally after I managed to rip a nice size gash in the sidewall , so for me I'd rather have one than not. And happy to see you have been looking around the forums and finally joined up :)
  5. Looks like brand new from the pictures too I think you found yourself a great buy with that mate, not sure what you paid but all round looks like a steal :D
  6. You won't always get an engine light with the MAF fault. And throttle body would be next clean the carbon build up from it
  7. Most I've made on the sale of a car £145 but that was getting the car at a steal :) And I've never made a single penny since :)
  8. Not seen him on for awhile
  9. SKY sucks ;)
  10. Not really sure sorry is it worse under breaking ?
  11. I would say the breakers yards will be your best bet. Or try some of the overseas parts had a few members use places in Canada and got them cheaper too.
  12. I would say £300 to £400 I would say was about the going rate. And as Tlag said Water pumps worth doing too :)
  13. I know I'm going to have to go kill Kenny :D
  14. I've emailed Steve for you :) I know it's been sorted but the tickets won't get sent until after the 26th of this month as that is Japfest closing day unless they sell out 1st
  15. Is it that bad you couldn't just have the roof wrapped I know alot of people do that ?
  16. One of the reasons I added this but nobody fills them in you was the last one :) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2868-regional-members/
  17. Definitely gives it more of a beefy sound :)
  18. Cool :)
  19. Not sure unless they haven't updated it
  20. It's knew I remember when I got the 360 games was £49.99 then they will come down when Sony do a drop or visa versa
  21. Nice hope it's a good one for you one of the other members had done 120 mile round trip today to find out it was a shed :(
  22. Thanks for the heads up I was wondering when it was on I remember you saying it was about this time.
  23. Always room for a Subaru in any mans life ;) If you keep it get it resprayed as I said before have it as a weekend car to take the family to the beach in or whatever you like to do. As for doing it to sell I really wouldn't I'd spend the money on other things or any maybe repairs it needs. Not very often you will make money on a car. Myself I would see how thing go after the baby if you can :)
  24. :( Yeah I remember it well when I was looking for mine. I'd looked through every website all the car garages within a good distance of my house you name it traveled to look at a few. was about 3 months before I bought one from start to finish 2nsd one wasn't so bad I had picked 3 to look at in Manchester when I got there 1 had sold so that left just the 2 So went and had a look at the 1st one liked that thought it was only 12 miles down the road to look at the 2nd one so went to have a look at that. Was put off by the garage and the gangster mafia type pushy sales of the garage and looking at the car wasn't well looked after went back and got the one I 1st looked at :) So not on your own think most of us have been there :D
