Funny I started my car today and had the ECU light on turns out it's an 02 sensor but seems to be running ok at the minute. But will get it swapped sooner than later not a massive job just a pain.

I would say I made over £1000 in selling account's not sure the time spent made it a great profit but I enjoyed it :D And yep I'm going to slam it on in a few see what I think :D

If I'm honest I think a lot of the newer models have been not to my taste as far as looks go but the reviews that I have seen across the range have all been good. And I would say the same as Jay why would you get the latest model ? :D

As jay said best way is to get the adaptor from Ebay Like THIS and the App With that you can read the codes and clear them to see if they return. And be able to go from there to help get rid of it :)

Could be the fuel but not heard a car struggle with higher ron fuel before. But have been told it can take nearly a full tank of fuel for a car to get used to the higher octane and visa versa. I'd give all the hoses a quick once over check for any loose or split pipes could be the throttle body just needs a clean through. or the MAF like you said. I'd check the codes like Stanton500 said and clear any if it has any. :)

Hi mate welcome to S.O.C You could try Molyslip but doubt it will help as you rightly said sounds like the Synchro has worn. mines on its way it give a bit of a crunch into 4th :( you can have them rebuilt but as Pete said cheaper in the long run to get a 2nd hand one. As for the oil it can vary a lot but would recommend Motul gear 300 75w-90 or give our fellow friends a try at OpieOils get club discount too :) They can advice maybe with a cheaper or one that will help slip better on worn parts. And love the idea you are doing with the your friends. Tlag his Son Bips and Adam on here do that sorta thing looks amazing. So please feel free to share any pictures or videos of your adventures. And feel free to join in on the forums, friendly bunch and not all just car talk. :D

If I end up going Whitby would be more ideal. depends on how close to summer holidays also with Whitby does my head in when it's busy :D

I didn't play them I did go for conan for about 2 days and hated it so never went back to play it tried the Hobbit or whatever it was didn't like that either Like you said to much the same. I was really good at wow PVP in the days when wow was hard to play when level 60 was the level cap :D I also found I could make money on the game by selling account's -_- until I got one banned so gave up doing that then they stopped you selling them on fleebay :( And been watching a few Vid's of Titanfalls and everything looks great I'm looking forward to giving it a blast and I even made sure I only have a couple of small jobs to do tomorrow so I can play it in peace while kids are at school :D

Just ask your mates with cars if they use anyone different or know anyone. they don't need to even like cars. You never know what people know. Like what I said before the guy who will pass any car for a quick £80 was told about him by my mate and he doesn't care for cars one bit. To him they just get used to go from A to B And thats true Jay :) I think people with common sense will soon be like the X-Men a rare and hunted breed of people with powers :D

ESL is a good thing it's mappable to work with your ECU And while we talk about the ECU you should have two black connectors under the steering wheel near the pedals you can read the ECU codes if it has any guide HERE Could be a split pipe will give the same symptoms or you are as lucky as me with a dodgy MAFS :) the spray can use anything I use warm water

I would say someone local will do it. I know two MOT testers one I use I like to think he uses his common sense which seems to be like a dieing breed of people now. He will pass it for stuff like the cat but will fail it if it's not safe or a CV joint need's changing or breaks are bad. I like that But I also so know another bloke that would pass any old crap thing for £80 safe or not. Now I've never used him and wouldn't myself but found him just by speaking with a mate of mine who's not even into cars :)

Shouldn't make any difference it being from a PPP car the engines should be the same. I'm having problem enlarging the pictures at the minute will try have a look again a bit later. But can almost guarantee be something over looked like this :)

I do a thing at the lights a bit like the revving but I just tap it really fast almost like an anti lag sound should try it :D
