I know seem to have two posts going :D the Year is from your vin plate you pictured even if your's is a 97 the vin is saying it's a 1998 But it is an early 1998 from what I can workout.

Safe to say with your's Stanton I'm at a lose with it :D The VIN of a Japanese import always has fewer than 17 characters. The World Identifier will always be omitted and will often begin with the model type. Here is an example of a Mitsubishi Shogun VIN and its Japanese import counterpart, the Pajero. In this example the World Identifier of ‘JMA’ is not used on the Pajero and the VIN starts with the model type: Shogun – JMAL049GWJJ000001 (UK) Pajero – L049-000001 (Import) Even on models that share the same name, the VIN is always this way to confirm the vehicle is a Japanese import. Only thing I have is for the Sigma 30 I will have to check what security was in your's. I'm sure it's only good for 2001 to 2003 Legacy about 2005 Foresters not sure about Imp's say 2005 as a rough guess :( will keep looking if not.

I guess they will have to add the price on the car, I have a feeling they will get hit hard by this too but will only fall back onto the buyer to pay for it. But I think they will have there own sort of Tax they can put on it for a month with being trade
