  1. You're welcome mate not as busy as Scoobynet here but a lot more friendly here :D I'm also a fully paid long term member there. But have found myself like you looking for some where else. :)
  2. No I don't think they would fit not as a straight swap anyway like for like. And I don't think there easy to come by Legacy exhausts from what I've read on here with other's looking to do the same. I would maybe look for a 2nd hand one or only other way is a custom made :( I could be wrong though. And sounds painful I know mate of mine has back problems. :(
  3. Sounds like a good buy to me mate and more ideal as you have said for the need's you want it for and still AWD ready for the colder month's :) To blank the hole should be easy enough as you will have it out of the car to work on I'd just worry that it's another thing to leak :D
  4. As Miggs said I can't see why you couldn't swap them Most thing's on Subaru can be swapped as long as it all the same size other wise you would need to swap the full dash. Only think I'm not sure about is if the new temp controls will have the same ports that plug in the back.
  5. Sounds like a good plan. Maybe be a bit stiffer with being new but I think it would still feel better to drive .
  6. Wow I thought that would have been a bit tougher but yep you got it Miggs. Well done
  7. opps I forgot the link I used a craft knife, a tailors tape measure and some masking tape to hold them in place. and a bit of warm soapy water. and a water spray <<< sounds worse :D Is it the rally decs you are doing ? the swoosh is the worse one to do but after I watched a video of a Greek guy doing it I did it the same way and went well. I've now taken them off again on the Bugeye but the Blobeye still has them on.
  8. No problem mate. So you went with the non turbo in the end I take it. And hopefully you get the breaks sorted bit scary when the foot goes to the floor I've had it happen once :D
  9. As said above sometimes it is a bit of crap built up or rust and a clean up does sort it. But I think you would be very lucky more with the crankshaft.
  10. I think I will stick to paying for it like cheap hooker's :D I can't even wallpaper I know my limit's ;)
  11. I have an oval on mine and wish it was round so for me round. But I do get a nice tune out of mine being oval :D
  12. I will concur :D And yes all the walnut dash should be able to come of easy enough you could either spray it wrap it with carbon wrap if you good with it. And if you really feel confident you could change the Green Led lights on the temp switches to glow other colour's :D I've done that with an old car of mine and looked great. But I cheated and payed a bloke to switch the bulbs for me but when I looked I think I could have done it myself :D
  13. I knew I'd seen it just wasn't sure I did say Mad max before Time Bandits though. And I agree awsome movie well a classic :)
  14. I've paid to have all my tints done so kudos to you :) I wouldn't know where to start, but I do like my tinted windows good for perving ;) And I think it will look great with the spoiler from that picture I'm trying to see it with out the rails and think it will look amazing. Still :)
  15. Will this do it ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-impreza-93-2000-brake-servo-master-gc8-gf8-legacy-bg5-852-06209-/220954912724?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru%7CModel%3AImpreza&hash=item3371f067d4
  16. Blow yeah I can feel your pain ;) I guess depends how good you are with a set of spanner's :) Both are not big jobs. I've posted the Admin Some workshop manual's in PDF format to host for us, but I I'm guessing he's been busy so their not on here yet :( but until then I will see if I can find some pictures or even better a video on youtube for you. It's said it's best when replacing Crankshaft Position Sensor, to change (CMP) Camshaft Posistion Sensor. But can always just risk changing CPS if you still have an error it will be more likely CMP. If you let us know be happy to help you locate where they are if you want to try yourself :)
  17. Just looking for anyone from the Grimsby Area or Louth way
  18. If you want to post them for sale mate just use the Subaru's for sale section for now. Been having problems again with the Parts section. I think it's resetting it's self that you need X amount of posts to view it but not sure yet :D
  19. Always the case I was the same at school never did as I was told. :)
  20. We was on about doing that before. I have pinned it in the engine section for now. And yeah nothing worse going for an over take and it not making it :D
  21. Ohhh Good one I want to say Conan I've seen it before I just can't put what film it's from
