  1. Whhhat you don't have a large bank balance and not willing to give me and Jay beer money. Jay what did you do with the ban hammer ? :D No place for that !Removed! here ;)
  2. Hi mate welcome to the Forums. As Jay said we are a young club but going in the right direction which is a good thing :D I'm to far away from you but hoping to start a monthly meet for the guys/gals local to me :D And for the big meet up's Trax and Japfest was all talked about this year but it came around to quick, but saying that I believe next year the way things have gone in the last 2 month's I can't see why we wouldn't be able to get there as a club next summer :) And as for the bitching going on in other forums ( I have a feeling which one) I'm happy if they leave it there. I was always brought up with manners cost nothing, the same as I tell my Children now, If I don't like something on car I will just say "It's not for me". Same as with my car I appreciate it's not everyone's taste but its what I wanted and that's all that matter's :D touch wood non of the members have been like that and its all been kept very friendly So if you like dump vales stickers or you don't and like the clean look or have a Forester Legacy BRZ or just share the interest everyone is welcome :) And as Jay said we love pictures :D And we have many off topic conversations that go off quickly once the 1st post matter has been resolved or not Anyway welcome again :D
  3. Hi mate sorry to hear about the car :( easy way to say if its the turbo engine/WRX. If that's what you are asking would be that the Inter cooler is at the back of the engine under the bonnet scoop and to the left hand side of that below it you should see the turbo. failing that if you can get a picture uploaded of the engine be able to tell a little better :) And was it a private sale sold as seen ? Sounds like it was sold on quick with known faults :(
  4. Hey that's Blasphemy :when Subaru's are involved :) Little bit hard to tell from that picture as there so close to the fogs. But I can get the idea this time Haha but like it :D
  5. Wow been busy with it then :D some very nice mods listed. I'm sure might be a few more thrown your way you was warned :D
  6. Don't get me wrong I wasn't meaning anything by my last comment of the Cherrybomb like Jay it's funny to see it it when you forget about things :) And as Jay said I wouldn't have a fake dumpvalve sound myself but if you really want to its possible :)
  7. Well all I can say if I had the money to spend I would own one without even thinking about it :D But I am a sucker if I want something bad enough :)
  8. looks stunning mate and welcome to the forums too. I also echo Jays post of any other mods planned :)
  9. She was using a tripod mounted camera but I thought it was because she had to much to drink And nope sorry I've never heard of it.
  10. Haha Cherry bomb exhaust was the only way to have real street cred when I was growing up :) I've not heard the name for along time. I will point out you said you have a non turbo so the dump valve would not fit your car :( And I've just looked now and found this :D http://www.cherrybomb.co.uk/
  11. I love the Hawkeye and you have the best colour IMO unless its a RB320 only way I would want another colour :) And Jay I'm sure we can excuse you of your ignorance. It is meant to be bliss after all :D
  12. Very clean and tidy mate. And to be fair I've done that started to work on the car and not taken any pictures, but does look better with
  13. Hi mate welcome to the forums. It's apart of the alarm system if you have the codes you can set it to do stuff like lock your doors after say 30 seconds or to turn the feature off, and to add new key. But to do that you will need the original master code to put in 1st to add anything else. And feel free to add some pictures up when you get chance :)
  14. A code P0420 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Leaded fuel was used where unleaded was called for A damaged or failed oxygen sensor (HO2S) Downstream oxygen sensor (HO2S) wiring damaged or connected improperly The engine coolant temperature sensor is not working properly Damaged or leaking exhaust manifold / catalytic converter / muffler / exhaust pipe Retarded spark timing The oxygen sensors in front and behind the converter are reporting too similar of readings Leaking fuel injector or high fuel pressure Cylinder misfire Oil contamination Possible SolutionsSome suggested steps for troubleshooting a P0420 error code include: Check for exhaust leaks at the manifold, pipes, catalytic converter. Repair as required. Use a scope to diagnose the oxygen sensor operation (Tip: The oxygen sensor in front of the catalytic converter normally has a fluctuating waveform. The waveform of the sensor behind the converter should be more steady). Inspect the downstream heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), replace if necessary Replace the catalytic converter Overall probably the biggest mistake vehicles owners make when they have a P0420 code is to simply replace an oxygen sensor (H02S). It is important to do proper diagnosis so you're not wasting money replacing parts unnecessarily. We strongly recommend that if you need to replace the catalytic converter that you replace it with an OEM unit. Second choice would be a high-quality replacement part. There are many stories in our forums where folks replaced the cat with a cheaper aftermarket one only to have the code return shortly thereafter. One thing to note is that many vehicle manufacturers offer a longer warranty on emissions-related parts. So if you have a newer car but it's out of it's bumper-to-bumper warranty, there still may be warranty on this type of problem. Many manufacturers give a five year, unlimited mileage warranty on these items. It's worth checking into.

  25. Hi Jessica welcome to the forums I'm sure we had someone on awhile ago with the same problem. For some reason the non turbo exhausts seem hard to come by, not sure why. Hopefully one of the other members might be able to help I will keep a look out also for you :D
