  1. I can sort you a picture out mate that's not a problem. As for the sound I think I get more from the exhaust and DV to notice :D
  2. Haha I'm sure that's a cocktail of things like coke meth and tigers blood. :) This stuff is great but once its on, its a big job on ever getting it off again :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/tiger-seal-adhesive
  3. If I was in doubt I would change it mate. Always better to be safe then sorry, and I'm sure pot noodles wont be all bad as long as you can borrow some bread and butter of next door :)
  4. Cheers Adam I never knew you could do that to a standard engine, I know you can turn any engine to a turbo if you wanted. Another thing learned today :D
  5. I see it last night but was late though sort it in the morning then got really busy this morning so had to do it when I got chance which was now :D Oh well all's fair in love and war Haha Oh and cambelt them dreaded words. mind you will need to do mine by the end of the year/start of next I'm guessing :(
  6. Most people will say it's not needed unless you want to push the 400BHP as the OEM will do fine. Me I'm not most people so have a K&N one :) can't say I see any massive gains from it as it was fitted at the same time as the engine rebuild and map. But I always like the thought it can get enough air at all times :) http://www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?Prod=57A-6018 I have this one can be found cheaper on ebay now. And some tool when it was in the garage has lost my air pipe going to it but seen I can get a ramair one cheap enough :)
  7. Oh well hopefully it went well. And he's to drunk to post :)
  8. I was just coming on to reply to this had to do some digging around to find the info beat me to it :D
  9. Pete's pretty good with most things and you managed to do the clips. Bit of a joke to myself I'm now guessing :D
  10. (Wolf Whistles) Looking good mate I like it
  11. :( I use a Bluetooth adapter from home I can use with either my phone or tablet/Ipad has not let me down so far and when it's been double checked with my friends £2000 bit of kit so far has been the same, so would recommend these. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Android-Torque-Car-Mini-ELM327-OBD2-OBDII-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Interface-CAN-BUS-/181124903208?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item2a2be2b128 And you can clear the codes to see if they return too :)
  12. Ohhhhh Pete might have someone to steal the crown from you here lol
  13. Well glad to hear you sorted it. And on the Brightside at least you know if it need's doing again you can do the job easy enough :)
  14. Ouch yep sounds like that is well gone mine does it all the time when the engine is running though more annoying then anything I just wont cut the belt off until I have had it checked by the Irish guy I use like I said before £30 to have it re gassed and its fixed or cut the belt and need to fit a new one on top of the gas I will wait for him to check it :D Should be ok to demist your windscreen without the aircon I believe. But least you found a guy. :)
  15. I have a funny feeling one of the forums you have spoke about might be related to one of his early posts :( But hopefully the good ones will come through here and we can get regional section set up for local meets too :)
  16. A Focus! are they blind :) I can see if there is a Subaru at least 10 cars behind me in my rear view mirror even if it's a hatch :) Oh and Pete how did your mate get on. I had a look on the page on facebook but last post I see he had a crash in practice ?
  17. Scoobyworld are great they did the engine rebuild on my car I couldn't recommend them enough And yep photos always good here :D
  18. No problem at all I just wanted to make sure, I understand sometimes things can get taken out of text :) And I would go K&N I've used them every time. Oh part from a Pipecross didn't seem as well made as K&N but gave a great snorty sound :D But K&N for me :)
  19. No problem mate Hope it helped in some way it didn't really narrow it down though did it
  20. Oh I'm so glad to hear someone else have this problem. I've lost count how many times I must have looked like I'm having a Tic with Tourette's sat in Tesco's car park :)
  21. Wow yeah hell of a lot brighter. The old ones do look good also
  22. You will fit in just fine here then mate. Touch wood every car club I've joined has been great you will always get the odd few that will try tar it. But I think that can only happen if its left for the aggressive full of themselves idiots to get away with it. And at least you took the gamble and hopefully like others you will feel like this is the right place to be :) And I don't have time for Jehovah's witness's forcing there views on me, my Misses does enough of that telling me what she wants doing to the house :D
  23. Sounds good to me. I think the stickers might be a week maybe 2. there was meant to only be 50 given away, I don't know full figures but I know it was exceeded ALOT! Haha so maybe some delays. But don't hold me to that I have nothing to do with that :D And if you're on about the rear spoiler STI for me all the way ;) And looking forward to seeing the pictures :D
