  2. Yep if you get the parts. And agreed I love the Hawrkeyes ;) You might get a few people ask you when they pop on later. to meet up you never know :)
  3. 12 Volt , CCA: 540, AH: 60 should be fine :D
  4. Don't think we will be going as a club this year, but all being well next year. I have seen a few of the members on here say there going as for myself would like to but have to see closer to the time. And with the Hawkeye, Blobeye and the Bugeye, all the body panels and lights fit each other so could be a swap of panels lights and bonnet and boot. Or as you have said engine swap :D
  5. I have never used a clay bar. How easy are they to use I always think its going to scratch the hell out the car but I have seen lots of good results.
  6. I think its the hawkeye that's 2.5l the blobeyes that I know of was all 2.0l But anyway I love the Hawkeyes that's what I want next ;) And I agree with the people that said you need help ;) but I must admit it is addictive :D Think there is a few people going to Japfest not sure which one though
  7. Hi mate welcome And glad to see you found some sense and went and got shot of the Toyota and replaced it with a Subaru. :) I'm a little bias but looks nice I take it you have plans to do to the car by the sound of it ;)
  8. Yeah used to watch that too. But my all time bestest was He-Man.. I have the power!!!! :)
  9. Nice I hope to be able to get a few peeps from up my end to start meeting up soon :D
  10. Hi mate welcome. Both car's look fantastic shame about the classic :(
  11. Never seen one before but just looked. I see one on ebay sold in Feb this year with 145K miles on the clock sold for £2,162.00 it says rare on the listing.
  12. Yep but was not as good as Super ted :D
  13. The only other thing to try is to adjust the clutch under the clutch pedal, the rod that goes into the master cylinder and that is connected to your pedal has a nut locking it in position on your pedal, loosen it think its a 12mm, then to adjust the pedal you need to turn the rod anti clockwise , maybe one or two rotations, its easier to turn if you take the R pin and shaft that holds the rod to the pedal mechanism of , then re assemble and see how it feels, you might need to adjust it a few times.
  14. Ok cheers for the help mate
  15. I might have it it's been that long I have not looked at the paper work I just add to it with stuff ;) But I'm sure I didn't see one, will ask at my Subaru dealer see what they say :)
  16. Ditto mate :D Oh and thanks for the reply mate
  17. Learn something new every day on here. Oh and I agree Scrappy needed a good swift kick to the mid section. Well talking about reminiscing I came across a kids show I watched when I was younger Wiz bit. I soon see why my head was so messed up. it's like being on LSD :D And to be fair not sure what mental age I am but I still giggle at farts ;)
  18. You white knight of the road you ;) And I know what you mean my bonnet does look like it would lift off at high speeds
  19. Nice one. Well I do have a problem with my key if I use that to lock the doors via the button and not the fob it plays havoc with the alarm and immobiliser. yet if I just use the Fob no problem at all. Any ideas :D I knew you would come in handy to me one day
  20. Think it was meant as Scooby doo :) I hope that someone is at home with him though as I fear for his safety ;)
  21. How long ago was the clutch fitted might be bedding in maybe. I would have said sticky break's but if you had them checked. And like you say might be just getting used to an AWD car. I take it you have not had it long at all. Might be worth just checking the gear has gone in to 1st all the way too. So next time it does it keep the clutch down and just take it out of 1st then return it see if that works , it's not a fix but might be able to narrow it down a little :D
