  1. Not tried anglewax, but heard with a lot of these system waxes you really need a power polisher thingy (can't remember what it's called) as your arms will drop off otherwise. There's always turtle wax wash and wax that's lovely stuff
  2. We'll in that case I can use that excuse too as we're the same age
  3. Might depend which one, if it's the liquid resin it dries clear and leaves no white residue, so you get none of the problems you can get with a hot surface. You'll just have to make sure everyone sees your good side then
  4. Try Maguire's can polish even in full sun, comes up a treat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. We're all just big kiddies then?
  6. My Opel Manta was heavily modded, 2.0 16v Opel GSI engine tuned up quite a bit, 1.6 Carlton gearbox as they use the Getrag gearbox with no seals, wax about 200bhp, which I appreciate isn't much today but back then was pretty serious, 0-60 was just over 6secs. It was also painted ford zinc yellow which didn't stand out much, what with that, the flames and the 109 Db it used to run at its not hard to see why I used to get pulled over a lot. I have to be more sensible nowadays
  7. You know what they say about men and boys and the difference . . . There isn't any difference
  8. I had a virtually a straight pipe from the manifold it just had a muffler which is bigger tube with lagging in it but it's still straight. Good old Demon Tweeks
  9. I used to have an Opel manta with launch control used to spit 3" flames whether you drive nicely or not, got pulled over quite a lot
  10. Sometimes I'll get the revs just right do that the turbo whines and makes a dump valve noise when you change gear. I know, childish and I should have grown out if that by now
  11. If you don't want to buy photoshop there is some freeware that is very good as it's a clone of photoshop and uses layers. It's ideal for you Gambit, they even named it with you in mind, it's called GIMP I make no further comment
  12. I had a Mazda 323 sport a while back, that was tuned to run on vpower the difference was huge. Only problem was it ran like a bucket of bolts on normal fuel. Definitely worth tuning your car to the fuel if you only intend to use that fuel, you'll get much better response and performance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Trick with rainX is to smear it all over the windscreen, allow it to dry, DO NOT buff it clear, just hose it off with loads of water, it'll be clear and bead much better. 40mph on mine the windscreen blows clear and my windscreen isn't very sloped. I drove all through the heavy rain in feb hardly using the wiper, I also use the RainX screen wash which prolongs the life if the rainXI've been told that's Maguire's car Polish will do the same thing but last longer, not had the nerve to put polish on a windscreen though. 14. Washed and waxed, nice and shiny, I like shiny things
  15. I seem to remember some one commenting on the tangent me and Gambit went off on. I think you two have excelled yourselves on the tangent stakes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. No I don't and never have watched, fortunately neither does the wife. She does watch Big Brother and I'm a celebrity but I suppose we all have our cross to bear. Anyway, spent a day in Brentwood and its s dump so the TOWIE lot can keep it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I couldn't do that whilst boiling my head in preference of supporting those no brain numbnuts! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don't think they get our rather odd discussions. 3-4 pints of Becks in a bar on your own and start getting somewhere near your level of randomness. I need to get home again before I go insane, the hotel I was in yesterday can organise TOWIE tours and TOWIE shopping experiences, I think civilisation has had its day on that basis
  19. What's the point in following the line instead of the tangent. Those that drifted from the path made the greatest discoveries. Unfortunately that doesn't happen on our case and we just find more crap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Actually spurt being a drip under pressure may be more relevant than I first thought
  21. You know that an expert is don't you? An ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure
  22. So you're cracking one off while talking to me, for gods sake don't get mixed up else you and i will fall out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Do you just sit there looking for new posts, I've got an excuse I'm sat in a crappy hotel restaurant on Brentwood with no xbox or sky, what's you're excuse!
  24. I walked into a strip joint once, stupid place to leave it, mind you I'm always walking into things
  25. No, it's shoulder charging a cow when it's asleep and stood up so that it falls over. Tipping ugly pole dancers, isn't that called charity work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
