    Good news :) If your windscreen has a black strip along the bottom (where the wipers sit) then it's to heat that - my Outback has that and it helps with defrosting in winter

    Would be good to know if it could be fettled in the same was as the impreza lump can be; or at least as easily (if not for quite the same power gain) :D I just didn't know how or if the auto box would interfere with anything

    As the question suggests really - I'm talking about the 2.5 turbo auto lump used up to 2009, then the 2.0 litre cvt auto in the current gen Forester .....just thinking ahead ;) Cheers
