I used to use 3m tyre restorer....found it worked quite well on black plastics and you don't need to use much. Came in a trigger bottle and just sprayed into a microfibre before applying, then leave for 2 mins then wipe off any excess with a clean microfibre

eBay or a breaker would be your best bet. Have you checked that it isn't just a loose wire or blown fuse first though?

Thinking ahead already....four years ahead lol
Are there any reputable importers of used JDM subaru's that anybody knows of or has had a good experience with please?
I'm happy for this thread to be added to over the next 4 years [emoji6]
Thanks folks

I used a mobile fitter Tom; autofitservices based in tyneside somewhere. I've used them twice now and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Do a great job

You don't have to, but I do and it more than pays for itself with the improved mpg. The engine runs better too, which is always a good thing

Depressing the clutch would only decrease traction anyway. An auto should be no different in reality and if anything the 'auto creep' will help you to move on snow and ice without having to put any power down

Auto, but you could say I'm biased [emoji6]
The one owner, full history, lower mileage, cheaper wins the day for me over the minimal difference you'll notice with spec etc
