  1. I'm still in but will pay on payday. But short at the minute as usual
  2. I guess it doesn't have to be from that exact part just needs to be a perm feed and switched feed which can be from the !Removed! lighter or stereo... any suggestions where's the easiest place to connect to then Just thinking out loud. could i take both from back of stereo?
  3. That's another colour combination I've read then lol. This is what's frustrating why don't the just do it a universal way rather than by the looks of it using what ever cable they could find at the time.
  4. Yep that's the one. Go faster stripes with signatures must add ££££ s
  5. If its on at 6 it will be a re run. Think I've seen it if it is a re run. They get a bug eye in silver
  6. Why are they so awkward making these things lol. I assumed the red is 12v but could be wrong. If I cut it can always be connected back together I guess I'll leave this bit till last and carry on with the rest, see if anyone else has any idea
  7. Google searches are annoying me now as every page gives a different answer I'm fitting my apxei timer and need to know which wires on this harness are 12v constant power source and which goes off to a 12v ignition switched power source (it is the plug from left hand side of steering column) I did think I knew the answer but Google searches are throwing me now so help would be appreciated.
  8. Just reading that. It's assuming wiring with the harness. I'm just going to hard wire it in. The black. White. Greg cables I'm fine with I think. The red goes to constant 12v which is fine. It's the green and blue wires are a bit misleading so if anybody has any input it would be appreciated
  9. I found that after I posted this. I did find a description via a Google search but there was still a wire or 2 left over. So wasn't sure if they were needed etc Going to tackle it this weekend
  10. looks good, where abouts is squires?
  11. Thats the one, printed it out yesterday :)
  12. Just got my self a 2nd hand apexi turbo timer delivered today, as its second hand there's not instructions, I've found some brief ones online but just wondered if anybody else could shine light on where the wires attach to etc
  13. im going to change my maf on pay day as i think it is on its way out
  14. I had this problem, is it hesitant at low revs but fine after that? I had a cone filter on, I changed it back to the standard air box and seems to be fine now. Although martin at sheffield subaru service said same as above about the dv, I wouldn't say mine runs 100% at the minute after returning back to stock filter so I will check dv soon too
  15. Yeh I agree on the BMW and c2. The c2 belongs to one of the organisers Couldn't believe how big it all was there was loads to see. Found a new local group, Hull scoob's. There was a couple of 350s and skylines. Like the supra not sure on yellow though June 1st will be next on if anyone fancies it
  16. does that work with a link to my photo bucket page?
  17. Yeh don't know why it hasn't worked. Did it the same way as any other time. Bare with me 5 minutes haha
  18. As promised in previous thread the photos from the meet I've just been to, It was meant to start at 7.30, i got there at 7 and was in the overflow car park, which quickly filled and had to use office car park across the road, this then filled and had to use another car par lol, easily over 300 cars so good job its on a business park. There was absolutely all sorts there from hatch backs to lambo's and everything in between. Apologies for the picture quality I had my 2 year old daughter on my shoulders. http://s1236.photobucket.com/user/hilli182/library/Modified%20genius%20meet?sort=3&page=1
  19. This is on tonight and from reading they're Facebook posts it's going to be huge. I will post some pictures later tonight
  20. Thanks for the replies guys. Just had a closer look as I pulled onto drive from work. I think it's a combination of slight heat shield rattle and a blow from joint between mid and down pipe. I'll try and find time over weekend to sort it and update
  21. As above I have a slight chatter noise at low revs. Seems to disappear at 2k to 2.5k revs or could be that I can't hear it over the exhaust noise etc Is there a way to find out if it's the turbo ? The turbo still works fine and kicks in as it should. The noise does seen to come from that side if the engine though
  22. I've not done the maths for mpg but I run tesco 99 Ron in my classic turbo usually and get 200-250 a tank but I've read about faulty maf give bad mpg not sure how true this is though
  23. Fitted a new knock sensor over weekend ordering new maf today and reinstalled original air filter . Anybody else use impreza as everyday car? What millage to a tank are people getting ?
  24. I learnt hard way that a exhaust are different on each model. Got a wrx decat down pipe. Fitted it to my UK turbo only to find the flange was at a different angle. Your right about it being a mine field and loads of options
  25. Yeh mines the one where there's to torx screws and it comes out nice and simple. I've cured the juddering issue I had it seems. Now when idle the revs sometimes drop to near point of cutting out very occasionally I've read thus is maf on its way out. There was also a few comments about maf from various people about my last problem so time to change it see if it makes it any better
