  1. Just wondering which spark plugs are best for a 2000 turbo? Going to look at mine one evening this week to see if they are the cause of my juddering at low revs, usually I would go straight for NGK iridium ones but wondered if anybody else has had experience with any others like denso etc or the NGK platinum's?
  2. Must use different ones up near me then lol Picking my car back up from Manchester airport in few hours :-)
  3. That's a very good point. Mines literally 2 minutes away
  4. there a tenner each from ebay so extra 3 quid to have it there an then is worth it in my opinion
  5. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/categorydisplay_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_categoryId_165505_langId_-1 6.50/7.50 for standard cans, i think it may be the same for mixing but dont quote em on that ight be a tenner or so. The last on i had had the same nozzle as the ebay ad and they show you the mix before the can it so if your not happy they can change it etc. As i say i've found them really good but i'm abit impatient about waiting for things lol so they are just easier too
  6. Halfrauds are actually quite good with paints. Or at least the branch near me is. The nozzles are the same as the ones on that eBay listing and can get them there and then. I'm never 100% convinced buying paint on ebay personally you never know if it is a real pain manufacturer or a bloke in his shed haha Think I'm going to tackle my small rust bubbles at some point :-) not sure where I'll get paint from yet
  7. if you give halfords your reg they will mix the paint to exact colour in either a touch up or spray can, I've done this a few times now
  8. PM me your PayPal details I'll have a set posted please. Then can start prepping for shows :-) never been on a club stand before :-)
  9. Think I'm going to have to get rust bubbles removed from arches before going. Not sure whether to tackle it my self or not. I did it on my 100nx but that was only a few hundred quid car so no risk to ruining it. So 10.52 all in then?
  10. Put my name down. It's my daughters 3rd birthday the 18th and going to alton towers so going to tie the 2 together :-)
  11. How much are they with pnp then. I'll have some for northern big one and donny japfest :-)

I'm all over this. Looks epic. How do we go about going on the club stand then?
  13. I'm still on holiday lol so won't be seeing you. Have a good one though
  14. got any pics of the sun strip one on a car? are these stickers basically instead of buying them from mufflebox site (think thats what its called lol)
  15. don't you be knocking hull lol that's where i live now, well not really hull, nearer to Beverley but usually not many people know where that i so just end up saying Hull
  16. I use the dodo juice hard wax. Purple haze think it is. I just wash the car, dry it. Polish it with "poorboys" polish then wax with the dodo juice. Paint work comes out gleaming and is very smooth to the touch. I've posted pics of it in some thread somewhere before on here all by hand too never used a da. As some said above I enjoy the satisfaction of doing it myself rather than paying somebody to do it
  17. Autoglym is good but dodo juice is better :-) I use poor boys black hole polish followed by dodo juice purple haze. Leaves the paint like glass and very smooth Wanting to get full dodo juice set when poorboys polish runs out
  18. it is now fitted :D it is a 3 inch reducing to 2.5 inch, came with the hole in correct place and a blanking nut in, removed that and was a straight fit this time round so now have cone filter, decat down pipe and magnex back box, the sound is great with the decat pipe, had a few loud pops from it already, louder pops than i had before the decat anyways :)
  19. its on :D drove it for 2 hour straight a 1am to Manchester airport yesterday and no warning lights came on
  20. Ok thanks for that everyone. Just drove it again and I'd say it's a stutter at low revs rather than a judder if that makes sense. What plugs do you recommend using in the classic ?
  21. I shall check that later on then thanks The only thing i've changed since owning the car is the air filter, took the air box off and fitted a cone filter. Would this cause an issue? I've also got the decat to fit hopefully doing it tomorrow, unless it will cause any problem adding to this problem now?
  22. Last night I pulled onto dual carriageway put foot down in 4th. It pulled at first but then for a brief moment lost power and then got it back again. The engine was still running but just didn't have any pull. Lasted a couple of seconds then kicked back in again. Admittedly the car could have done with warming up a bit more before putting foot flat down but would have thought this to be the cause ? I've noticed it judder slightly before. Say if I'm cruising at 2k revs then put foot down in 4th or 5th it sometimes hesitates before kicking in and pulling away. Any idea as to what could be happening? I noticed while I had the down pipe off there was no gasket between turbo and down pipe so have bought one and fitting tomorrow . Not sure if this could be a source of any problems .....
  23. A 260bhp+ car with no front brakes. Please tell me that's a joke of some sort if not that's just a ridiculous thing to do lol
  24. Is there a way of clearing the light?
  25. OK thanks for that everyone Now next question. I've been reading mixed stories about decats and remapping. Some say they ran it without map fine others saying don't put decat on unless getting a map Now I have a decat down pipe turning up Thursday and I'm fitting Friday. I don't have the cash for a map so will it be fine or not?
