  4. looking good Nick :)
  5. yeah, lol the attendant pulled a right face when I pulled out the discount card :)
  6. I watched total biscuits review of it. Looked a bit naf and he didn't really have anything good to say. So i'll keep my money, thanks Ubisoft, but no thanks.
  7. Halfords has a 3 for 2 offer on car cleaning products. Also has the Rain x line on buy one get one free. I managed to get two bottles of rain x and two bottles of rainx glass cleaner for 16 quid with the halfords discount :)
  8. lol i did report it to the DVLA via this form. - https://forms.dft.gov.uk/report-an-untaxed-vehicle/ Doubt the DVLA are going to do anything though.
  9. I topped my screenwash up... that counts right? i also noticed that someone has parked in front of my drive (half blocking it). Not seen that car before, so I did a quick check on their reg. Turns out its not taxed. - Does that mean its not insured?
  10. Pretty sure you'd be able to pick up one on ebay. Will have a look :)
  11. If its on a weekend i may or may not be able to come lol. The missus is due in April... so depending on the date (and location) i might be able to pop down.
  12. hi, yeah i got my droplinks from ICP. I also got new bushes from them too. Like you i did want poly bushes, but it looks like a right chew trying to find the right sizes n what not, so just went for OEM ones. Wont last as long, but they are cheap so its okay. . Are the sway bar bushes the D bushes? I got some from ICP, maybe you could have a look on ICP for the D bushes for your car as it will tell you the correct size? I'm afraid i have little to no idea about the parts being interchangeable, i just tend to buy from ICP as you can check if it definitely fits. Edit have you checked Scooyworld? http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=39_274_325_364&osCsid=lt5ddecisu4vdhbhae3jle2ee2
  13. If you wanted OEM parts, you could always check out import car parts. - http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts?cat=96&sub=3421 You could also check out Whiteline for some uprated droplinks, although these may be pricey. http://www.whiteline.com.au/index1.php
  14. yea lovely motor mate, looks smart :)

I've heard a lot of bad things about subaru's diesel engines and heard of many cases where the engines need to be rebuilt at the cost of a few grand. Even on never model outbacks with engines with relatively low mileages. So I'd certainly make sure that you do your research before buying. Saying that I'm sure there are plenty of diesel owners that haven't had any issues at all.
  16. I looked at those stants.. ended up getting OEM pagid disks n pads. Will go for the Black diamond ones next time... - although im hoping this disks will last a good while yet lol
  17. Thats nice dave, mileage is a tad high thou?
  18. I mate, welcome to the club. I've got a 2ltr legacy and love it. Not as quick as 3.0 or a turbo, but its good enough for my needs.
  19. I have a 2L R legacy saloon mate. Practically the same car. When you say the best car you ever had, i presume you don't have it anymore? I converted my Dual mass flywheel to a single mass flywheel at half the price. I also replaced the exhaust for 550 quid at a powerflow dealer. I also found a few sellers on ebay that sell genuine subaru parts for cheaps :) - this guy.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/impartsb46?_trksid=p2056016.l2559 ps Welcome to the club Blocko. You could either look at a 2ltr, 2.5 or 3.0 models.
  20. Yay, It's car insurance time... managed to find 452 from "quotemehappy.com" on Compare the market. I'm reasonably happy with that.

When one of your inconsiderate neighbours parks their car in across the front of your drive.... Whilst your car is on said drive... yes, well done.. cars blocked in, lets hope my pregnant missus doesn't need to get to the hospital in a hurry. !Removed! !Removed! heads
  24. i've got loads of little scratches on mine, so will give it a go and see if they come off. :)
  25. I can't help with the actual problem mate, however, live up your way mate and i go on a trek to sheffield subaru service, when i need some work doing or whatever. i'd certainly recommend having a chat with him if you are planning to keep the car.
