  1. I looked at getting some millers oil for my next oil change... The Millers oil site recommended this oil. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/MILLERS-CFS-0W20-COMPETITION-FULLY-SYNTHETIC-ENGINE-OIL-5L-6165/261358345302?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&_trksid=p5197.c100068.m2280&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140211130857%26meid%3Dcd72343cd80746649c03a8dbdb0e9875%26pid%3D100068%26clkid%3D1733115872566339981&_qi=RTM2063723 I nearly choked on my tea when i saw the price.
  2. I'm presuming the Legacy estate was the 3ltr version.
  3. glad you got it sorted mate. I'd have been livid.
  4. I found a set on ebay lasy night.. cant link but here is the item number 191745035326.
  5. Probably easiest to keep an eye out on ebay mate. I've looked before and it was going to cost best part of 250 quid for a used set plus the cost of a refurb... and unfortunately with used alloys you could easily end up with damaged ones.
  6. i'd still go for an Auto, :)
  7. I've been looking at imported legacies again.. seen some lovely ones.. so lovely i feel inclined to link them.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301804824805?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381372557003?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381401529449?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381467759580?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381467760424?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT lol, jokingly mentioned it to the missus... didn't go down as bad as I expected... hahah
  8. I told him that i'm still getting quotes, but no i didnt mate, Is yours just straight through from the cats back? or does it have any silencers or anything?
  9. Got a quote from that Longlife dealer in Chester-le street Dave..... £650....Ouch
  10. I'll got a squeaking when starting the engine from cold. Sounds like a belt or something, tends to go away within 10-15secs of pulling off. Any ideas?
  11. totally jelly, nothing here, just a massive pile of leaves that the wind has blown up against my house... lol hmm, Yeah worth an ask.
  12. oh really? Where did you hear that? Heard anything about them?
  13. oh i hate that mate... annoying. Anyone ever had a Powerflow exhaust? Similar to Longlife? would you recommend? I've got as quote for 550 from a powerflow dealer in Newcastle. I think he's called the Exhaust dr. lol hah
  14. Yeah its either going to be Ashington Longlife, or AAS Exhausts in Newcastle, - I've heard good things about them. Does seem a good price mate, No idea if they are any good though haha
  15. Nice mate, i've got a similar setup in my legacy :) I've found the pagid discs and pads pretty good.
  16. yeah its just so out of the way for me.
  17. Went to a longlife dealer in Middlesbrough to get quote for a new exhaust. Was quoted 450 + the cost of two tail pipes for a catback system. Which would probably turn put nearer to 550-600 quid. Wasnt very impressed really, he didnt really seem very confident and I got the impression that he hasnt worked on many subaru's. Think i will go elsewhere.
  18. I looked at doing the same with my legacy... But when i came down to it, I'd have needed the best part of 200 quid for another set of alloys, then maybe another few hundred if they needed refurbing. So i figured its easier just to get them changed over twice a year. Albeit a pain in the !Removed!.
  19. That copper sounds like a right jobs worth. Did ge try n give you a ticket or something? Id bet he pulled you hoping to do you for something else (drink/drugs/or somethings like that), then realised he couldnt do tried to do you for something else.
  20. I'm not sure mate. He's moving to a new garage this week. so I'm planning to pop down one day next week so he can measure up and give me a quote. I'm hoping no more than 500 though. I did fancy using that chap in Newcastle, AAS exhausts or something like that, heard he's good but he's expensive and has a long waiting list.
  21. Evans performance in middlesbrough mate.
  22. Decided its time I got the exhaust done... Going to go with these guys in Middlesbrough - https://www.facebook.com/evansperformance.rsep/
  23. tried to order 4 all season tyres for the missus astra from tyreleader.co.uk My bank blocked the payment (as the seller is in Germany). So I contacted the bank and confirmed it was me then waited an hour before trying again. Turns out !Removed! tyreleader has put the price up each tyre by 10 quid!. Cheeky !Removed!, they can sod right off.
  24. Just got back from a week in Cyprus... need an excuse to go for a drive :)
