  1. lol, who on earth chose that name? Scoobyfest Sounds awful... as if we are all chavs. I'm not sure if I will be going or not with the new baby coming in April. Will keep ya posted.
  2. Ive got nokian winter tyres fitted to my legacy, second season with these tyres now. I found they make a massive difference jn the snow and ice.
  3. I think there is a decent longlife dealer in stockport if thats close to you. Cant remember the name though.
  4. My mate used tony banks on his pug 207 gti. They ended up leaving loose bolts in his engine bay which completely destroyed his radiator. Then refused to cover any repair costs and refused liability. Enough for me to avoid him all together. Ive been quoted 550 from a powerflow guy in newcastle, the exhaust doctor i think hes called. His work on facebbok looks good. Bit out of your way though.
  5. Had a weekend in York... was wet and cold and I missed the snow :( So we went to Barnard Castle today, Yay snow! :) Was very impressed with my winter tyres, no issues at all on the snow or ice. Gave my car a quick wash n wax when I got home... was covered in nasty salt. ewww
  6. totally raging, just got back from a weekend away to find that the neighbours let his dog !Removed! on our front lawn again... I wanted to chuck it on his doorstep but the missus doesnt want me too incase it escalates things. edit chucked it on his lawn.
  7. Have a look on tyreleader. I've always found their prices very good. - although you still have to take them to a garage to get fitted and balanced.
  8. Yeah doesn't sound quite right if you ask me.
  9. Yeah mate, it takes 5w-30 normally. So yeah no idea why they suggest that.
  10. haha yeah, I couldnt see the bollards as they were directly behind me and lower than my boot. Watched my dash cam footage and I should have had better awareness of my surroundings at the time. Fortunately the damage is minor.
  11. Just reversed into a !Removed! bollard... !Removed!. Got lost trying to a.find a car park in newcastle rvi hospital. Ended up stuck in a staff car park, had to reverse out... bang straight into a bollard i couldnt see. :'( Lucky its only chipped the paint of my rear bumper. But still gutted.
  12. I looked at getting some millers oil for my next oil change... The Millers oil site recommended this oil. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/MILLERS-CFS-0W20-COMPETITION-FULLY-SYNTHETIC-ENGINE-OIL-5L-6165/261358345302?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&_trksid=p5197.c100068.m2280&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140211130857%26meid%3Dcd72343cd80746649c03a8dbdb0e9875%26pid%3D100068%26clkid%3D1733115872566339981&_qi=RTM2063723 I nearly choked on my tea when i saw the price.
  13. I'm presuming the Legacy estate was the 3ltr version.
  14. I'll still be going to NBO, but probably not the others. Would be a too far to drive with a baby.
  15. glad you got it sorted mate. I'd have been livid.
  16. haha thanks for the replies gents I'm totally going to have to get one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-STICKER-BABY-ON-BOARD-IN-WHITE-WRX-STI-LEGACY-FORESTER-/252192776886?hash=item3ab7dc62b6:m:mJa7A0jps7d9a-fjjaPVEqw I mentioned the upgrade, she said "No, the pram will fit fine in your car" which is true i guess lol.

  18. I'ma be a daddy :) Had our 20 week scan today! having a boy :)
  19. I found a set on ebay lasy night.. cant link but here is the item number 191745035326.
  20. Probably easiest to keep an eye out on ebay mate. I've looked before and it was going to cost best part of 250 quid for a used set plus the cost of a refurb... and unfortunately with used alloys you could easily end up with damaged ones.
  21. i'd still go for an Auto, :)
  22. I've been looking at imported legacies again.. seen some lovely ones.. so lovely i feel inclined to link them.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301804824805?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381372557003?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381401529449?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381467759580?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381467760424?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT lol, jokingly mentioned it to the missus... didn't go down as bad as I expected... hahah
