  1. Ok. Per your request and winding down of the tunes in correlation to the persons having to acquiring the cable, I will run the special until end of June 2014.

The special is only on the Main tune and not 5EAT full tuning. This is what all of my customers get.

    • Full tune range from 150-170GBP w/ basic 5EAT tuning

    • Full Tune w/ full 5EAT tuning ranges from $200-220GBP

If you need just the DBW & 5EAT tuned cost ranges from 90-110GBP

Please note major tuning must be completed in 3 weeks.

  2. I think Ed has got my 5EAT tune to just how I like it. Went through a couple of ROMs to see just how shifting performed and after four adjustments it's just WOW!

Car takes right off with seamless, unfelt shifting. No sooner do I get to the speed I want but the torque convert locks up sooner than it takes me to look down from the road to the tachometer to see if it had because I can't feel the shifts anymore!

My mileage is improving with the transmission tune as well. I don't need to give the car as much throttle to get the car up hills or to keep at speed on the flat. The torque converter doesn't unlock as quickly either. A modest nudge to the gas and the car just speeds up, no unlock. Give it a little more gas after that and it smoothly unlocks and the car takes off! Take my foot off the pedal and the TC locks right up again!

    It's beautiful!

  4. Ed sent me updated roms a few days ago to try out.

So far I've only had a chance to try one of those, with the results in the above video. Transmission performance improvement was immediate and very obvious. Shifting is much quicker than before and still very smooth. Even through the RPMs drop very fast when shifting I don't feel the shifts at all. The car feels as if there is more torque and that torque feels like it's available sooner. And although preliminary it appears my mileage may have improved too!

  5. The ecu give you everything, depending on the model. let me show you a replay of some stuff.

    Red is pinging

There are much more logging parameters, but below is what I am interested in

    http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=501

Download the opensource software and see.

ON the turbo side, yes true to the non BB. If persons are looking for BB and want to pay for the price, sure yes the Blouch is prefect.

  6. Through logging.

Have some fun reading some of the forums - http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=40

Depending on the model subaru, there are tell tail signs from the wrx/sti 2001-2007 of afr tuning for the AFR using the stock sensor. EGT are the same.

For stage 2 or race tuning from XRT, customers are require to have the necessary tools as highlighted in my documentation shown by the link.

    http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/Information/XRT%20-%20Tuning%20Tools%20for%20ECU%20Reflashing.pdf

Yes I like the blouch too. Will be putting in one for this 2008 JDM WRX here - http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=468

We will use the Dom 3.0XTR TwinScroll or even better, may use a Steamspeed one I will design, since I am doing a group buy for the STX-67 using the Garret GTX2867R style like billet wheel.

Kamak seems to be a bigger company than Blouch, but we will see how that goes.

  7. Well I could recommend myself self as a Tuner, but I left that for you all to discover. :)

Tuning a turbo or some tuner talking about you need special capability is pure crap. Let say it is marketing myth to highlight to you something special that don't exist.

Any good tuner can discover what can work or don't work on your car. Many times are there issues that prevents you from making that power or response. You just have to know or feel what there are.

Example, customer not making the boost. High wastegate is running. Customer reports he can hear his turbo very loud. Now there turbo is making the boost, but the car is not showing it. You either have a bit leak or mechanical issues. Other symptoms will say more.
