And then a few days later I saw this: 2.6 litre beast....and what a good looking motor compared to the hideous B9! Talked with the lad, a local.....he was a Subaru nutter just like us.

I`m talking about the new 2 litre works S, whatever bad luck you`ve had in the past fair enough but i`ve had 2 from new a 53 and a 59 and they were excellent, even the Chrystler engined supercharged early ones, once the engine had been rebuilt and properly tuned (the yanks don`t have a clue!) by the team at BMW they were brilliant. The 59 was the later, quicker and better engine with turbo and 40 plus MPG.

Not a chance.....build quality is no where near as good....plus, they need to get rid of the embarrassing "ST" lady towel moniker. The new works S is a very fast little motor.

I quite fancy the new 2 litre Cooper S works.....150mph and an Imrezza chaser The wife is due a change soon!

Or....what is he in.....a biscuit tin on wheels with milk bottle tops for brakes! Not a very smart boy.

Sat in plane here waiting for take off to corfu. No subaru for 2 weeks but I think I'll manage.

My last one went that way unfortunately, 2 years ago this very month. Best thing about it......upgraded to a 3.0. :D

Not sure if I posted this a while back. If there had been someone walking around the corner this FU@K I N G knob would have killed them! and read some of the bile i`m given from fellow dickheads.

Also.....they blatantly cheated on that advert by disconnecting the rear brakes! About time Green Cross Man was brought back and less of the "Drivers are always to blame." Speed does not kill, it`s inappropriate speed which does!....tailgate cameras would catch out the bad drivers.
