I find my ps3 225/45/18's very predictable and easy to handle in all weather :)

What coolant do you all use it's time to change it.
So my coolant level on my blobeye is just below the minimum level and it's a green colour no idea which brand so I will most likely have to drain it all out properly and put in new coolant to play safe but run the risk of buying the wrong coolant and it all turning in to jelly like sludge stuff if I don't drain out the old really well so wondering what all you guys use before I go out and buy some.

Finished off the offside callipers today and with the last bit of calliper paint left I made stencil and did the intercooler too with two light coats :) (Nearside front wheel and calliper nice and fresh) :)

Finished the offside callipers today and had a little bit of calliper paint left which I felt would be rude to waste so spent a bit of time making a stencil and went to work on the intercooler too :)

I bought an uprated Bosch battery as my old battery was starting to struggle to hold charge in the cold and in preparation for the extra drain I will be putting on the battery powering all the gauges Only reason for so many is I'd like a bit more peace of mind of the cars health for when I start on the performance upgrades plus I hope they will look nice lit up too without looking too much like a boeing 747 cabin

Started refurbing my callipers as it was a nice clear day, that's the nearside finished hoping for another clear dry day tomorrow to do the offside! :) Got all the gauges now as well just waiting for the pods to arrive.

The ride height looks just right! Give us some feedback on the ride of them when you've taken it for a good spin. :) I'm itching to buy a set of those meister coil overs with the cam bolts, extenders and the protective coat stuff as they look great and go with my red theme :P

Here is a little time line of photos since I first bought it basically stock to how it now so far. Still driving lovely like it did on the first day, no running problems yet aside froma nsf bearing and changed the aircon/alternator belt and general services. Got lots more on the list of never ending upgrades and emptying the wallet on it but the next part is installing a triple pod of gauges to replace the clock above the stereo and a twin pod on the A pillar too before I start on performance upgrades so I can keep an eye on the cars health better :)

Don't be ruining your bath to dip parts in haha :P I considered getting a dipping kit but with all the bits and bobs I'm already doing at home I don't have the work space for dipping as well so bit the bullet!

I think just the aircon belt cover in real carbon costs about £60-70 I can't imagine what the air induction piece would cost to be moulded in real carbon as that would be a much more complicated part to fabricate in carbon. I had three bits done in total the other bit was the fuse box plus you can't buy any scooby bits in real carbon off the shelf with a red weave which I have a soft spot for It was roughly £130-150 depending what condition the parts are in when you hand them over as the air induction piece has a nasty bobbly surface on it which needed a fair bit of prep work before the dipping process!

Too much!!! We're talking triple figures but wanted my engine bay looking fresh and tidy before I start some nice performance upgrades through the summer.

A dash of candy red carbon! Collected the hydro dipped bits today and put them back on, really pleased with the finish on them done by Hydro-Graphics in York, waiting for some red M6 engine dress up bolts to come back in to stock to finish it off.

Wash and polished and ordered two more gauges and a double A-pillar pod so will have 5 gauges to fit in total next month just waiting for the ATI triple pod holder to arrive that replaces the clock

Fitted gas bonnet strut damper kit, removed the old prop up rod and put a few bits back on that I have freshly painted to smarten it up a bit while waiting till Tuesday for the hydrodipped parts to be ready to collect!

That is a bargain if only I had that sort of spare change! My partner would kill me if I bought another for parts... will try run through the his and hers idea with her one day see how that goes one day Been painting a few detailing parts from the engine bay and hydrodipping a few bits too to hopefully have most of it done by the weekend as the car has been sat on the drive all week feeling cold and lonely.

Do you need any additional parts to fit there or are they just a direct swap out, setup, alignment and off you go?

Footwell LED strips on 55 blob wrx
Figured it out of what to wire up to the dome wiring but now just need to find an improvised tool that is long enough and thin enough to push the wire in between the roof lining!

Footwell LED strips on 55 blob wrx
So I'm looking to wire up a pair of foot well LED strips in the driver and passenger foot well to the dome light wiring so they fade in and out when the doors are opened but not too sure where to feed the wires from as teh getting into the roof lining is fiddley! If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great!
