  2. went shopping in the scooby today.stop't at a junction and a honda civic type r in front of me with lady driver pull out an goes about 100 yards up road and stops to let traffic past some park't cars,so i wait at junction to pull out when i hear a motorcross bike gunning it up the hill,i looks and he's pulling wheelies up the road showing off on the busy road, dint see the civic stop't in middle road,he put front wheel down just in time to see car,hit breaks and slammed side on into back civic, stook to back car like one them garfields people use to stick to car window in 80's,woman jumps out car shouting at him, funny as f**k,wish i had time to catch it on video but cars behind me was pipping to go
  3. their is a few videos on youtube of people doing this mod to their hatch mate, but mostly in usa.i have thought about this before as well and from what i read is you will need a remap straight away and on really cold days you may have to give car a bit of revs to help it as they work like a old style choke.mrtperformance youtube channel is a good channel to watch, from austrailia but worth a watch

Does car run rite with the dump valve on?do you like the sound?if yes to both then leave it on.if no then you could go with an ajustable on to recer and dump to get it to sound and run rite.if you dont want noise then go with oem sti recerc. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

  7. 4 uniroyal rainsport 3,all weather high performance tyres 215/35/18 with about 7 to 8mm tread.been on car about a month.these are great tyres makes driving in wet feel like the dry and good performance in the dry also.cost about £110 a tyre new so grab a bargain.perfect for a classic, collect from wombwell.£200
  8. You can do a good job if you can spray.i sprayed some wheels gold but as said it takes a lot work rubbing them down and stuff.did a quick job on my hatch wheels to a dark grey and they look ok.my best wheel are going to be powder coated tommorow at lcs £50 a wheel for straightning all rash removed, strip't and coated, tyre back on and balanced.so for the money you sould just get them powder coated.by time you have bought sand paper, primer, paint clear coat and time doing them its not much cheaper.also if you spray them with it not being baked on when you go for a tyre on they will just destroy the paint round the rim.
  9. Moding a car back in the 80s was no diffrent really to modern day cars.it was ok sticking carbs and cams in but you still needed someone compatent to tune the car up right or all your mods was just a waste money driving round without them set up right.just now tuners use laptops.
