Duncan said I'd need another ecu to run mafless. That's not an option right now. Not sure if I need to swap the up pipe just yet. About the cone filter. I'm not so sure about that after behind advised against it and seeing a few horror stories. What difference is it between a free flowing panel and cone filter? Cost is another thing. I've just ordered an rcm fuel pump, pump cover gasket, turbo back exhaust gaskets and the final piece is the intake upgrade. I'm booked in for remap on 16th April. I'm getting lost and confused if I've already said all this [emoji38]

Ok. If you see pic in first post of exhaust it's only the decat downpipe that isn't on. When the bloke had the exhaust pressure tested it came back as minimal back pressure so seems to work really well.

Standard cat in downpipe and I'm guessing the up pipe has a cat? I haven't looked that side but it was standard so I'd say it's Still there.

Thanks Stants. I've only changed the exhaust at the mo though. Hoping with the other additions I'm going to make the 270 target quite easy.

You know in all honesty. I haven't had a good run or a quick pull away yet since having exhaust done. Or at least that's what I think gave it the extra 23 ponies. Mad to think just changing one small part gave me that much extra. I'm not sure what she was running before exhaust change. Wish I'd checked really. Next dyno run will be with Duncan and that'll be with panel filter, decat and remap. Posted this in another thread but for anyone that missed it, I'm also after this design.

Finished on the rollers a little while ago. 211bhp standard, all I have changed is a 3" cat back with resonated centre and rear box. Made 234bhp and 231ft-lb. Dead chuffed! She done well for an old girl. I'll put the graph up a bit later.

I don't have cusco parts. I may have some in the future when I start adapting the suspension. It's just a floating idea as of now. Ash I will call the insurance i didn't expect it to make that much difference so I'll look at that cost up front. Matt, do you know any dealers should the time arise that I can call for the kit? I know this is not to everyone's taste but I think it looks really smart. As my car is silver the typical yellow/gold decals won't cut it.

Well I'm an idiot. They've sold now. I'm going to sulk and say I knew I should've just bought them. [emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35]

They are used and yeah seem a bargain. That's why I want them now! 4mm on all tyres. They're off a classic impreza so should be straight swap. That's all I'm after. I want it to run spot on and not have a middle map that allows for the worse as the car wont 've getting the worse anymore. It ties in all the mods gives me better mpg cleans the car up that runs better. Win win all round.

That's the thing. I'm not chasing ponies. Just want a good well rounded sweet running car with reasonable mods. I don't want to change the td04 so I'm always gonna be restricted to a certain extent. These are the wheels I have my eyes on.

The list can be endless. I'm still debating a fmic. I spied a set of superleggera on the bay of E. But that didn't go down well after I'm asking for the other work to be done.
