  1. That's a smart gauge. All in one set-up. Do you have a video or a link of that working. I want one gauge ideally but want oil pressure and boost so this is ideal for a pillar pod.
  2. Welcome to the club! Stick some pics up. I love a classic.
  3. Do you get any smell from the leak/smoke?
  4. Welcome to the club! Chuck some pics up when you can [emoji4] Were just getting the Kent meet going if you're interested.
  5. I use the tapatalk app so they're all orange to me. Try this: http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1619-Help-Check-Guide-Buying-1st-Subaru I think that's right.
  6. I'm not so up to savvy on new age cars but as savage said, get on that guide and have a good read up. Get all your questions ready for your viewing and don't be worried about asking the wrong question. It's a lot of money to hand over. The garage may even offer a type of warrantee.
  7. Possibly a breather pipe? Have a look on www.importcarparts.co.uk for your service bits. Unbeatable service from the guys there. They're also on eBay.
  8. My car is a year older and on 162000 miles. Don't let that put you off. It is dependent on how they're maintained. Price seems a bit steep for that year car?
  9. A lot of guys use gates or dayco belts. There's always cosworth it want a real heavy duty belt. If the belt has never been changed I'd suggest you change all pulleys and tensioners at the same time. Even the water pump as the belt has to come off to change that. As for your smoke it could be water or oil dripping onto the manifold causing steam. At 50mph you won't see it because it's getting blown away too quick. Keep an eagle eye on your levels and try to find it soon.
  10. What would you like to know. I'll try my best to help. Failing that I'll pretend to know while asking somebody else [emoji1]
  11. Welcome to the club! Good luck finding a car you'll never regret it.
  12. I've noticed the prices vary wildly. All depends on service history and the buyer. It's only worth what someone wants to pay. But from the pics its a real tidy looking car.
  13. Nice and tidy looking car. Did you have a price? It might help with the sale. Good luck!
  14. Welcome to the club. Lots of local boys up your way and I'm sure they'll be along soon. I'm a bit too far down south to recommend and local workshops I'm afraid.
  15. Welcome to the club!
  16. Welcome to the club!
  17. Looks like a sweet meet. [emoji106]
  18. Not the best picture but this was the old sti box that was on it. The actual box was huge and killed most of the sound.
  19. Much better. Like a massive man shed.
  20. Looks good mate. I wanted to wash and polish today but the weathers looking a bit grim
  21. The first Kent meet went on today at The Wharf pub in Dartford. It's a lovely pub with plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is a kids park just outside and a lovely view of the lake Just me and Papa Bear today but this is what I've been calling the pre-meet meet. We had a good chat and plenty of Subaru discussion. I'll be in touch with the landlord tomorrow about hosting the full meet as he wasn't there today but I can't see there being any problem with us arranging a monthly meet. There is no residential roads within the area as the pub is in a business centre which is quiet on a weekend. Once I confirmed an arrangement with the pub I'll set a future date and time so we can muster a good turnout!
  22. There has been a thread recently discussing the correct fuel and the consensus seems to be certainly use a higher octane fuel. V power would be a good shout.
  23. https://youtu.be/ZpikgO7YM7I It's a 3" cat back system. But unfortunately I'm unsure of brand. I bought it second hand. Got a right bargain. £100. Miltek or magnex was mentioned during the sale but the centre section was cut and that box added to meet track noise limits. It'll be louder when decat is on.
