  1. Get this in the meets section, may have a better response.
  2. When I upgraded from standard rims to a set of speedlines, to my surprise I needed spacers in order to get the wheels on as the front calipers/brakes were catching. I went for 5mm all around, was onle a tenner per set. Think if you get anything above 12mm then automatically you have to get the bolt on ones. The 5mm I have are just placements behind the wheel.
  3. I'd be interested. I arranged one there for my old club/forum in the summer. Corolla club. Same place, overflow of showcase cinema. Good turnout. Heres a few, mines the one with red mudflaps and the ae86 is a good friend of mine. Defo up for lots in the summer lol.
  4. Not all today, but fitted Japspeed rearbox and very happy with it, looks and sounds great. Sti front grille badge and a recent coat of MER polish and quick simoniz wax. The exhaust also had a polish over with Brasso before fitting, (was clean but thought may aswell as it was off and easy enough). Took it for an approx 200 mile round trip to center parcs (Sherwood), very enjoyable drive.
  5. Will do, next week. It looks ace, really suits it. I'm away for a few days and soon as I get back will post up monday.
  6. Thanks for link. I'll keep an eye on it. Apparently to replace suspension needs dropping etc, £100 labour.
  7. Fitted Japspeed backbox, very happy with it. I had a fujitsubo on a classic around 5 years back. The Japspeed is louder/deeper than that and more quite than the Blitz and Buddyclub, so happy to be in the middle. On a downside, I filled it to the brim yesterday as going to center parcs (Sherwood), the fuel neck filler seems to be leaking. Shown it to a local Subaru specialist, common problem, £300 new from subaru and a big enough job costing £100. However been advised by them, once clocked 50-60 miles will stop but v power leaking is slightly depressing lol. Also if I keep it around 3 quarters it shouldn't leak.
  8. That's pretty good tbf.
  9. Started her up as it's been parked since I washed & waxed it on saturday. Small trip planned for a long weekend. (So hope my mod gets fitted in time).
  10. Interesting, was hoping for bolt off/bolt on. Was planning on recircular as that's what the standard one is (I think) the atmosphere ones by name sound louder.
  11. Ha, yeah is mainly for that psst psst sound more than anything, thought they were also make the turbo more smooth and less lag. Will think about it though as mixed opinions.
  12. Just looked em up on ebay etc, not found any for the classic. In all honesty though reckon a bit out of my price range. Any idea on diameter for gc8, 34mm?
  13. No worries, i'm thinking a decent universal like the greddy advert maybe fine.
  14. Trumpets?? That's one big bov/dumpvalve
  15. Guys, this has probably been asked a zillion times lol. Hoping to get a Japspeed exhaust to my classic within the next couple of weeks. Then soon after am really wanting a bov/dumpvalve. It's a classic impreza 51 plate. Wanting to keep it as standard as possible, have upgraded to gold speedlines, Exhaust and the bov/dumpvalve is probably the last of my little mods. Has anyone either used/bought the universal type listed below, (copied & pasted ad from turborevs/ebay)? or the longer ad which is from a company called TURBOREVS on ebay?? Also 2fast2cool? Brand new boxed greddy bov dump valve Universal fitting Adjustable Price includes postage to all of uk Email for details Brand new dump valve is for high performance applications with the desire to be noticed! A new larger body and a beefier piston ensures the valve remains smooth under the most demanding circumstances. This valve relieves compressor pressure surge caused by changing gears or backing off the throttle quickly and is designed for turbo charged engines running boost pressure. This is a direct replacement for the oem recirculating valve. Please note this dump valve is not really loud, it makes a bit more sound than the standard one,
  16. Passed m.o.t, no advisories.
  17. Passed m.o.t, noise has vanished and tester found no sign or what it could be. No advisories.
  18. If it's not visible on exterior then I'd say hammerite for rust issue. If it is, work on removing but then would be repair and paint job.
  19. Went to work this morning, perfect drive. On the way back a couple miles on the way back noticed a sound. When turning right it's like a dry sort of scraping nice. I don't believe it's wheels touching or scraping etc. I'm thinking CV joint?? or signs of cv boot rather. It's due m.o.t which is handy as I have now booked it in early friday and may get him to have a quick look or try and pin point the issue.
  20. It would be basically louder, and the impreza turbo sounds immense with that noticeable burble sound. Deeper is more imortant than loud. Each to their own, I also like some decent sound so may eventually upgrade the standard speakers but may wait till spring now.
  21. Lol, neither do I. Sure someone with more knowledge will step up.
  22. Does an upgraded recirc still give the psst pssst or is that only Bov? Dumpvalve sound? Thanks in advance.
  23. I'm guessing it has a removeable shelf? I've never been in the wagons before, but yeah I can see it having more sound coming from the back end due to it been more open/airy than my classic, as the boot area is more enclosed. Standard exhaust?
