That info has broadenend my search somewhat, so newage exhaust do fit the classics. Have seen some ads on ebay etc bug eye scoobys saying they fit etc. This would make it easier if I end up getting second hand one. I am considering getting exhaust backbox and a dumpvalve from 2fast2cool, look quite reasonable and heard good things about em mostly. Just need more sound than the standard exhaust really and a dumpvalve I'm hoping would go nicely.

Thinking of getting a Japspeed backbox for my classic 2000, is there much sound difference compared to standard? May order from 2fast2cool, around £105 which isn't bad as brand new, just not sure on how much difference it'd make, just wanting more sound in the lower gears really.

Whilst on the subject of dumpvalves, I'm a little confused. Is a dumpvalve and a blow off valve the same thing?? Also is just the valve on it's own fittable/useable or do you have to change hoses and buy a dumpvalve fitting kit for different brands or just a straight bolt on part. (Never changed one before)

Hello guys ive owned my subaru for 7 months now and due to a growing family i have to let it go. Its mica green absolutely standard never messed with. This car is a genuine article with only 56k on the clock and yes its on a 51 reg last of the line not an r reg s reg etc. I repeat again a 51 reg classic. I only use millers racing oil which i have just bought for its next oil change. This car is a true classic and is going up in value, if i had the space and time i would keep it, i bet in 5 years it will reach 8/10k just like the datsun 240z. hello guys what do you think is the correct time for 0 60 mph for a classic subaru impreza with no mods. Ive done some research and am getting various times. 5.5 seconds 5.9 seconds For an old car car the impreza does feel very aggressive when turbo comes in any thoughts.

hello guys im going to replace my discs and pads all round. Ive never done a subaru but have done a type r is it mainly the same just open caliper etc take off and replace, also do i need to change any bearings like the golf mk2 on the rear. help.
