  1. Yeah sorting out this weekend chap been doing stuff for a mates stag doo, and working on p1 should be on the radio in a week
  2. Would be interested only down the road from me
  3. 3 port solenoid and remap is the best way to gains. A EBC is good for providing more efficient boost lowering spool up time but it's only as good as the person using it. Turning it up and hitting fuel cut isn't a good idea
  4. Yes you do loose torque at low rpm had billeted pulleys and flywheel on my old gti6 and was a ****** to pull away and the idle was so unstable I couldn't bear it any more so put all the stock ones back on was so much better to drive. Also they can cause premature wear to bearings on the crank
  5. Finally finished fitting my RCM cambelt kit and water pumps at 10pm last night whilst decorating and watching the btcc
  6. In the middle of doing the cambelt
  7. Yeah Defo give subaru a call and explain the situation why it's stripped else etc you should be able to get somewhere fingers crossed. As for mods I would go for a 3 angle valve seat heads. Silicone hoses every where as standard ones start going hard and leak. Arp bolts for crank and head.
  8. As Im a Mercedes technician my personal opinion would be to take it to a main dealer and see if you can get goodwill gesture from subaru it should bring the cost down and as long as you have full service history and all service items performed at the correct intervals you shouldn't have a problem. As this would be a premature failure which shouldn't of happened
  9. Don't know if you found out about your impreza. Yours is the last run of the classics that were in the UK prodrive fitted all the parts they had left over from the ppp packages it's a rare model don't see many at all
  10. Will pay next week when pay day arrives pal
  11. Finished detailing/paint correction on exterior now for the inside
  12. Possibly oil feed or return leaking
  13. Fitted scoobyworld mudflaps
  14. They produce better power due to the increase of octane which reduces knock (pre-ignition) which is a big deal for turbo charged petrols engine when giving it the big one down the road
  15. I haven't seen those before is this code from the 17 number Vin due to there being a few different Vin numbers as mine is a P1 I have 3 Vin plates the 2 on the drivers side and a prodrive subaru uk one on the passenger side gets very confusing.
  16. JF1 is build location japan GC8 is body type impreza Then it should be engine type Then model and trim spec and the last 8 is build number id of that particular vehicle
