  1. I thought getting it was awkward, it's just taken an hour to get the cable back in!! Fiddly is an understatement but its all back together and working perfectly, cheers guys
  2. Gentlemen, you guys are lengends!!! Clocks are finally out :) thank you
  3. So I have a couple of bulbs gone in my clocks and its really annoying me. I've just tried removing the clocks, I can get the trim out and the clocks will move but I can't get the clocks to come out. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please???
  4. Cheers bud, I didn't think it had obdII. I'm off to MK cruise tonight so I'll hunt another classic out and see what the difference is against a steel bonnet :)
  5. To be honest I'm usually a Sony man but I got this one from Halfords and as it is last years model it was only £60 and I can't fault it. Sounds superb. I have FLI 6x9s in the back and standard scoob speakers in the front doors and still it sounds good, definitely worth a buy
  6. So I woke up this morning noticed that the skies were blue, the sun is shining and I didn't like the satin finish so I decided matte was the way to go. The bonnet came off, and the boot too. Then I wrapped the car up and painted the roof Then I sprayed the bonnet in matte & took the spoiler off the boot and sprayed that too While waiting for paint to dry(the was already dry being out in the sun) I decided to fit a new headunit Looks tidy and sounds superb I also swapped the passenger door speaker cuz that'd blown. After that I threw the bonnet and boot lid back on I reckon it turned out good Just gotta get some vinyls cut for it for a finishing touch.
  7. :) I managed to snap the bone and both tendons and ended up with 20 stitches and a k wire. I have lost all feeling in the finger and even now after 8 months of physio I have about 20% movement. To be honest it didn't actually hurt, I think it was shock then closely followed by morphine that stopped any pain ;) although it was a bit tender the following morning. I had a 5 days(over a weekend) in Leicester Royal Infirmary being looked after by a very nice Polish nurse called Eva ;) Oh yeah I have put a claim in just waiting on the details(work admitted fault!!)
  8. Mods feel free to delete this post if you wish. This is what I did when I dropped 500kgs of steel bar onto my index finger
  9. I can post a photo of my left index finger taken last August that will beat all your bumps and bruises ;)

  14. Mariocinq, I plan to paint the roof and boot too. It's far from finished :) I thought about wrapping in vinyl but last time I did a bonnet it took me 4 attempts to get it right, too much like hard work :)
  15. Oh and Gambit, do you have a PayPal address?
  16. I have a quick question, when I took the bonnet off I notice two things, firstly it has a sticker on the underside all written in Japanese so I'm guessing the bonnet is of an import. Secondly, the weight or rather lack of it. The spoiler honestly weighs about the same as the bonnet!! My question is, are all the panels so light?? I would guess its made of ally. I have a mate who has a BMW with a carbon skinned bonnet(the framework is metal with a carbon skin) and he came round while my bonnet was off and he reckoned its lighter than his!
  17. FEEEEEEEEDDDDD MMMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Bonnet still needs cutting but all in all I'm liking it!!! Gonna cut it in the morning after the lacquer has gone off proper Need more paint now to do the roof and boot
  19. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.........
  20. So with sun beaming down I had to start. But I have to post this pic, more to annoy Gambit. LOOK BLUE SKIES!!!!! Anyways stripped the bonnet off, my car looks odd without it And with full trust in the weather report I covered the engine and set up the bonnet for prep After spray but before lacquer And now I'm in the process of lacquering. I HATE WAITING!!!!! Hopefully it'll look pretty when it's all dry and back on.
  21. The orange looks the s*x!!!
  22. Hahahaha it's beautiful blue skies here!! My bonnet is off and in mid spray at the moment :) Ohhhh quite interested in the sunstrip! How much???
  23. I know he's in Essex somewhere but will happily post stuff :)
  24. You could give Jamie Felus a shout, if you are on Facebook he has a page called Classic Scoobie Bitz, if you're not on Facebook give him a bell on 07770 596 334. He breaks and builds classic scoobs for a living and would appreciate the business.
