Thanks, good to know so not amazing but an improvement for the money.

I still haven't made my mind up I know what I want but as with most things what I want and what I can afford is different things.

  2. A local guy to me has fitted Tien springs they cost about £130 and make the car look amazing he says the handling is also improved by them.

I have been in to minds with springs as they are meant to be bad for your shocks and ware them out quicker. Obviously if your going to fit coilovers anyway I guess killing your shocks doesn't matter.

You can get some good coilovers for the hatch for about £700-£1000 so not to bad but more than I have to spend at the moment. I am thinking about going to Scoobyworld and getting a handling pack done as they fit everything and set it up for you.

I was this close to ordering some springs but have stopped myself until after the car has been remapped as that will be the decider to if I keep this car long term or upgrade in a few years.

So from what I have read putting springs on stock shocks is not the best idea however I know lots of people who do it without problems so hard to say. I would expect any lowing of the car will help with handling as the centre of gravity is closer to the road. However coilovers would give you better handling.

I am also worried about how harsh a ride you get with springs. I know coilovers are hard but depending what you get can be set softer and tightened up how you want them.

Last thing when working out cost of any suspension mods add the cost of an aliment set up as in most cases it will be out.

  3. Have to see how work goes for me had huge blow with the shop shutting for the missus. But see what happens over next month. Lot of stock in lock up still. [emoji4]

We have enough people and performance cars surely we can have a life of crime and be rich like the guys in fast and furious.....

  4. Nothing really would need 12 people to make it happen. Would prob wait until the wether picks up but if people are interested let me know and if we get 12 or more we can sort out dates.

  5. Looked at "wish" today, wife has used it to buy something, waiting for it to be delivered. Not sure how it works or what it is but everything seems pretty cheap, in fact very cheap. It's an approved app from Apple App Store. The app is called WISH.

Anyway, I thought I'd randomly type in Subaru and this came up, seems they also sell some Subaru stuff, could be fake could be crap I don't know, but at a few quid it might be worth a punt.

When/ if my wife's order arrives I'll let you know what the stuff is like. You can pay via PayPal so you get some buyer security.

There's other Subaru and interior stuff such as led lights and trims etc

It's just buying stuff direct from China. The misses uses it. Not bad if you don't mind buying from China and waiting weeks-months for deliveries.

  6. Plastic covers the way to go.

Yer breaks on my list as well.

I was looking at some k sports or something but as you say crazy expensive. When you want to do all 4.

I have been thinking about just doing the front. Be nice if I could find a set from an sti that just bolt on.

  7. That's good to know from someone running about the same power I would expect from mine.

Will be getting remap done next month so once I am happy with the power level of the car will be looking into lpg as an option. Can not get it in my village but have seen it not far away about 60p so very tempting.

  8. The second decat will not put a light on as I have it and have had no problems. That said I get it to over boost in second so will be getting a map soon as down pipe is done.

Friend of mine running a full 3 inch de cat with no problems so far without a map but I wouldn't recommend it.

Also his is crazy loud can here it streets away.

  9. No the n1 will go from the second cat back the down pipe would delete the second cat.

I would look at getting a custom one mate the n1 was on my list but it's crazy loud and melted someone's bumper on here.

Also cheaper to go custom and its fitted for you. I went custom and when it's all finished it will be 3 inch turbo back with 100 cel cat and second cat delete total £800 or £650 if I have a full decat.

  10. Taken King only £28 on Amazon so super cheap to get the game and all the dlc. Bungee have said the plan is to do a large yearly dlc from now one as the first to "expansions" sucked for £20 each.

    Taken King well worth it.

Also I am looking for a few to play with as haven't done any of the rades yet so Gambit get levelled up haha.

But Pete if you wanna do any let me know since I have an Xbox one now.

  11. Hay, Mine is loud, not crazy loud but louder than stock its noticeable inside but doesn't do my head in. People do know when I have pulled up outside there house though.

If you just want more sound pop to a local exhaust place and get the back box removed and replaced. A simple axel back system will give you a better sound without being to much.

If your going for performance get the hold system replaced.

There are 2 cats in the stock system one in the down pipe and one under the car. You also have a centre resonator and the huge final resonator.

So far my system is stock down pipe and then full 3 inch back I have removed the second cat and thats the point it got much louder. I also have a centre resonator and smaller rear resonator.

I will be going in later in the month for the down pipe to be replaced with a bell mouth and 3 inch pipe so will be full 3 inch system. I am having a 100 cel cat put in this will keep the noise down a little and hopefully keep it legal-ish.

I also need to get a remap done as it drives a little funny at the moment.

I shall post some photos later.

    Thanks

    Alex
