  2. Thats good to hear it wont cause any issues. Appreciate all the replies. Got my missus on coffee duty. lol.
  3. The cars a sti with induction kit. Recent rebuild but no major power mods. Will 7 plugs cause any issues as it runs perfect with 8 plugs currently?
  4. Ive got new iridium 7 plugs to fit. Did my research of what plugs i needed so was quite suprised to see iridium 8 plugs. Will crack on with them tomoz.
  5. Hi. Ive just started to change my plugs on my jdm sti. Ive bought some heat 7 plugs but the ones ive taken out are heat 8. What difference will it make if i put the heat 7 in? Thanks all. Steve.
  6. Been scoobyworld a few times for bits and pieces but never any major work. Their pretty helpful. Needed a single turbo bolt on my first scoob when i put a cat on for an mot and they were more than happy to let me have just one bolt. Saved messing about on fleabay.
  7. Its actually £569.99 to supply and fit the clutch then £90 for the skimmed flywheel. So its £659.99 in total. I need to learn to read. lol.
  8. Thought it seemed an ok price to supply and fit. My dads 52 plate mondeo cost him near on a 1k to have a clutch change. More that the car was worth. lol.
  9. Thought id ask before i spent extra cash. Done plenty of googling and it seems a lot of folk say not to bother unless the cars going on the track. A skimmed flywheel is £90 from scoobyworld. Pink box exedy clutch and flywheel skim supply and fit is £590. Seems a pretty decent price to me. Anyone know anywhere else in leicester that are worth trying?
  10. Hi all. After scratching my beard ive decided i cant sell my scoob. Test drove some focus st225 and just doesnt cut the mustard. Anyway, had a little blast in my scooby yesterday and noticed a very slight clutch slippage in 3rd. I know im probably being over protective but want to get the clutch done asap. Scoobyworld are fairly local to me so will prob use them. Whats the general opinion of a lightened flywheel done at the time of clutch replacement? Dont use the car for anything other than a road car. Steve
  11. Hi. Im after a v5 or v6 jdm sti speedo. The sort with the rev counter in the middle with sti on the bottom of the rev counter. It has 3 green plugs on top of it. Steve.
  12. Ive grown up with fords. From mk1 xr2, rs turbos, escort cabs, sierra 4x4, xr3is. So many poor escorts ended up in my garden. lol. Do enjoy my scooby. It always puts a smile on my face. Its one of those prediciments. Will i ever be satisfied unless i try. Hindsight is a gift. lol.
  13. Im pretty handy with the maintenance. Had virtually no issues with my scoob. New set of plug leads is all ive done on it. Touch wood. lol. Im tempted with the st 225. Seems like most ive toyed with have high mileage or a cat c or d. Ive had a uk classic and a bugeye previously and once i got enough cash together i bought another scoob. Think ive answered my own question. lol.
  14. Hi all. Need a drop of advice. Had my current subaru for about 5 months. Waited a fair while to find this scooby. V clean and well looked after example of a jdm v5 sti. With a recent api complete rebuild totalling near on 4k. Im now unsure whether to let her go and perhaps go toward a ford focus st. Wondered if anyone had any pros and cons for the st over my sti. Thanks guys. Steve
