  1. Just post on here I'm sure to see it, if I can't help someone else on here will :) I'm running a standard STI 4pipe exhaust :) have you considered this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/161951584908 james
  2. Cheers man I rather like it you got the 1.5 or 2.0? mines 2.0 I hunted high and low for one and come up trumps and found this full rep'd already, however I did pay for it 7-8k and 40kmiles on the clocks Only thing I feel mines missing is springs or coilovers but they will have to wait lol heres a couple of breakers i found http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-Sti-2-5-Engin-6-Speed-Dccd-2008-2009-2010-Breaking-/161938517512?hash=item25b449ae08:g:mIoAAOSwT6pV6JK6 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-Sti-2-5-Engin-6-Speed-Dccd-2008-2009-2010-Breaking-/161938517413?hash=item25b449ada5:g:g28AAOSwpDdVfgLf James
  3. Why not STI or wrx rep it? theres a fair few breakers around the uk that could supply body parts and they are all direct fits! Mines a STI rep and it looks millions times nicer than standard :) james
  4. This build thread is missing picture man ....... hook us up with some :P James
  5. any new on this buddy? James
  6. BC coilovers are full of win on any car !!!! Scooby world sell pre lowered and lubed coilovers ready to bolt on :P james
  7. why doesnt he try and find the same as you ? i also have a RX hatch and its not slow but its not overly quick if you know what i mean? I can imagine the 1.5 would be dreadfully slow compared :/ never owned or driven a auto impreza so cant comment :) James
  8. I see you live in london..... that could be half your problem as insurance play the post code lottery unfortunately!! have you looked at impreza RX hatchback ( non turbo ) and is fairly cheap to insure but then again i live in a fairly decent area just to put things in context, when I started driving nearly 6years ago I brought a 1,3 starlet na and paid £2800 year!!! and things have only got worse for new drivers :( James
  9. I dont think your age will have alot to do with it unfortunately, Subaru's are high to insure for anyone who hasn't racked up there NCB. Have you thought about getting and Non turbo Subaru just to get your foot in the door then once you have some expericance ( 2 or more NCB, and same driving experience ) buy a turbo one ? James
  10. what you going to do if they write it off ? buy another ? hopefully they wont though :) James
  11. Excellent cheers mate! I think admin should pin that link for all to see :D James
  12. Ahh good work jay I still haven't got one so if you could pass on any comments would be appreciated :D James
  13. Result .... worlds best car haha rag the hell out of it and don't have to worry! if you do have to use the scooby, 45p per mile will cover the costs for sure I was sent away on a course was 50miles there and back at 40p per mile for 5days so £20 a day! I only spent 25-30 in fuel ( 1.5 ignis sport ) :D James
  14. That's ok mate, thanks for the link :) I've looked at them before as they have some good stuff :) no one can really tell me what will fit :( I personally would assume wrx would fit as it's the exactly the same car however the STi has wider arches so would say they don't Help me out with a lower car please :D James
  15. Bumping this up as the missus is buying me these for christmas if I can find some :) do the STI and WRX springs fit ? Thanks James
  16. I got a quote from infinity exhausts for a cat back with STI style back box to match my sti system on my 2008 impreza RX and they said £480 and would take about 5 hours :D James
  17. £200 i really dont know how dealerships can get away with these prices! Good work on the diy fix :D James
  18. i actually remembered to take pics lol these pics are minus 1 wheel, two helmets and two ruck sacks ( already out and on the floor ) James
  19. Stick with the same size or go bigger :) James
  20. Yokohama AD08r = best tires I've ever driven with :D James
  21. Ahh good work be good to know what its like, from what i understand the disc is substantially cheaper than Subaru. James
  22. id totally agree the unit isnt the best, there was a thread not long ago about update disc and this website had good reviews, im yet to purchase a disc but will be at some point http://www.satnavdvd.co.uk/subaru-38-c.asp James
  23. You guys got any pics of the stuff you have used ect ? Tommo im abit confused to what you mean, what sort of fitting kit isit ? Thanks James
  24. Dont afraid when it goes clunk, remember your moving something solid within the gearbox ! and never ever pull the lever up without the clutch down, and its adviseable for you not to be moving :D James
