  3. I don't trust euro car parts I've had one to many faulty parts / incorrect parts :( Being a non turbo I don't feel I need massively expensive top of the range brakes, I'm all for a decent upgrade on OEM pads if they don't break the bank lol Any suggestions? James
  4. Hope all is ok man :) what the extent of the damage ? James
  5. Where do you guys buy discs and pads ? I'm buying for a 2008 Impreza RX Got a quote from ID Workz for oem replacements all round @ £145 delivered Cheers james
  6. No I never got around to doing this I want to do both sides so I'm going to wait till I have time and space and take the bumper off as it seems the easiest option :) James
  7. I wouldn't get halfords to do an installation for you! non of them are trained professional they read out of the manuals or have limited knowledge. if you wanted someone to fit for you id recommended researching car audio fitters in your area :D As above caraudiodirect is good and I have had a few bargains from bass junkies James
  8. best of luck with the sale man ..... havnt got your asking price there though :P James
  9. Sounds and looks like it would be easier to take the bumper off! Thanks guys :) james
  10. Guys I love my Subaru but this is testing my patience haha How the !Removed! hell do you change these side lights ? 2008 Impreza hatch ( RX ) Passenger side is the battery ....... I moved that had the smallest of gap but couldn't twist or pull the bulb out ! Anything I'm missing there? Drivers side well where do I start ...... Removed the air intake easy stuff just to find there no access to the indicator or side light bulbs :O poor design or what! Am I really going to have to take the bumper off and remove the light unit ? Help a brother out here I refuse to ask a garage to fit a !Removed! bulb it would kill me inside to have to pay for it Thanks James

  17. looking good mate, i also have an 08 non turbo hatch.... mines a STI rep though :) id love to know if a remap could help these out and there's seems to be an acceleration pause ( foot down ... nothing ... nothing ...boom your off ) not sure if its just mine though James

  20. Good luck with the sale mate ...... Price might help though James
  21. cant personally see that being true........ REMAP time ;) james
  22. Welcome along mate, one nice looking hatch there .... I have an NA hatch ;) James
  23. ECU's are not self learning but when its clogged with error codes it can effect how efficient the car runs as its compensating for the error codes it thinks its may have or had! Hope that makes sense James
  24. Ohh and leave unpluged for 5-10 mins !! James
  25. Best way is to reset the ECU .... Unplug battery and then unplug the ecu ( deletes any errors ) and then the ecu will help the car run more efficiently because it's not fighting error codes :) James
