DC5 is an epic and one of the best fwd cars ive ever been in! would own one in a heart beat :D
ohhh and we are all nice people here
good luck with your sale
James
Compression test it for good measure! boost leak somewhere is probably most likely though.
As for a gauge why not go a little jap with it? in the glove box!
i have a hatch to and if it was me id make a little box for the guage and screw it in where the space for CD's is or have it mounted inside the speedo cluster they are deffo a worth while investment!
James
I used to stick mine on the speedo cluster, always over the revs as I didnt need to see it
I wouldn't over think it, Subaru are just covering there asses so you can't sue them should something happen
James
Just sorted my claim out for an accident I had 6months ago, the solicitors offered a settlement amount pending liability
5050 split id receive half the amount
75\25 split id receive 75 percent
But thankfully id got 100% confirmation a week ago so I get all the money
By the sounds of what your saying its been declared split liability of some sort. Did you pay for personal accident cover through your insurance company or did you claim through a company like they show on tv

Looking to buy some lowering springs for my 2008 impreza RX ( non turbo ) and unsure where to buy!
any ideas? or advice on which ones are good, coilovers are a no go as im buying a house and paying for my wedding haha
Thanks
James
I feel your pain I have a side light out went to change it on the road where I live and realised just how much was involved changing it and thought bugger that il save it for when I have garage space!
What a stupid design, its not easy on earlier Impreza from what I've heard so must just be stupid designers
James
Always had good service and parts from these guys before but ive just got my first order from them for the Impreza and thought id share with you all :)
Ordered new OE spec discs and pads all-round and I was thinking ohh great mega money but this is not the case..... £150 delivered ( inc paypal fee )
i got 3 other prices ranging from £200 - 350
Company is www.id-workz.co.uk
all you have to do is drop them email if its not on there site and they get back to you fairly quick
Parcels are always well packed and you get tracked delivery ( well i have every time so far )
would recommend them to anyone :)
James
cheers dude!
ohh beleave me ive tested it out on 'closed private roads' and it goes well :) doesn't handle as well as my ignis did but that's due to the ignis having race coilovers lol
James
treated the old girl to new brakes all-round this afternoon
OE brakes pads and discs alround £150 delivered from IDworkz.co.uk
James
Ohh and if an admin member see this please could you put this thread in builds for me? would be greatly appreciated
I don't trust euro car parts I've had one to many faulty parts / incorrect parts :(
Being a non turbo I don't feel I need massively expensive top of the range brakes,
I'm all for a decent upgrade on OEM pads if they don't break the bank lol
Any suggestions?
James
Where do you guys buy discs and pads ?
I'm buying for a 2008 Impreza RX
Got a quote from ID Workz for oem replacements all round @ £145 delivered
Cheers james
No I never got around to doing this I want to do both sides so I'm going to wait till I have time and space and take the bumper off as it seems the easiest option :)
James
I wouldn't get halfords to do an installation for you! non of them are trained professional they read out of the manuals or have limited knowledge.
if you wanted someone to fit for you id recommended researching car audio fitters in your area :D
As above caraudiodirect is good and I have had a few bargains from bass junkies
